Michael and Janie were very welcoming when we arrived, they showed us around the area and provided a delicious lunch and supper the day before they left. They left a very comprehensive guide regarding the running of the house and care of Bugle and the hens. Bugle is adorable and it was a joy to look after her and the hens were no trouble. Bugle cottage is very comfortable and is situated in a beautiful part of Essex, if you get the chance to sit for Michael you can't fail to enjoy your stay.

Anna is a fantastic host, generous and kind; Very simple with clear instructions. Their house is beautiful, with a nice garden and a quiet neighborhood that made us feel at home. Fitz is extremely sweet and friendly. We enjoyed the time with him. He loves to play and is very understanding about his needs. It was very good to walk around the house in his company. I highly recommend this site.
