My first Trusted House Sitters experience with Kay was genuinely exceptional and a perfect fit. I was fortunate to meet Kay and her adorable pups a few times before the sit, allowing me to get to know their unique personalities and routines. Building a good relationship with the dogs and Kay was important to me, and I'm grateful for the chance to make sure they were comfortable and well-cared for. Kay is an absolute gem of a host—genuine, kind-hearted, and genuinely excited about sharing her home and local area with her guests, all while making sure her fur babies are well looked after. She went above and beyond, sharing insider tips on everything from spotting dolphins in the bay to catching a shuttle launch—a highlight I'll remember for a long time. Connie, Moe, and Fluffy were an absolute joy to look after. They were all about their daily walks and playful "scoot and roll" sessions in the grass. They're pros at responding to commands like "condo up," and never turned down their treats ("cookies") and some cuddle time. Despite my full-time remote work schedule, they never disrupted my meetings, though I must confess I may have interrupted their naptime occasionally. 😊 Kay's home exudes comfort and tranquility with its well-maintained cleanliness, cozy ambiance, and modern amenities. Its convenient location, within walking distance of numerous restaurants, shops, and workout facilities, only adds to its appeal. And I can’t say enough about the main bedroom and bathroom — it felt like a serene spa retreat that elevated my stay. If you ever get a chance to house-sit for Connie, Moe, and Fluffy, don’t hesitate! It's an experience you won't regret—a perfect blend of amazing companionship, cozy comfort, and cherished memories.
I had a great time both hanging out with Charlie and Lola for a few days and the times I got to chat with Teowa. She's a generous host and clearly an exceptional dog trainer... I'm not sure I've ever seen someone with such command of their dogs, which led to great recall and behavior from C&L even when they were only listening to little ol' me. The two Ninja Poms are easy to take care of and chill companions to either walk around the neighborhood or even take the tube off to a bigger park. The location of their flat in Clerkenwell is hard to beat... literally next to all the food on Leather Lane an easy walk around City of London, and a short walk to Farringdon Station with a handful of tube lines and the new lovely and luxurious Lizzie Line. If you like friendly folks and delightful dogs... Teowa, Charlie, and Lola are all a treat.
Laudy and Bill were wonderful hosts. Ned and Peppa were lovely dogs, very easy to look after. I had a great time in Canberra.
