This was a truly wonderful sit, highly recommended! Jocelyn was very organized and helpful in communicating ahead of time and during the sit, which made it seamless and easy. She was generous with her lovely home, which was an ideal place for a relaxing retreat. Her cats Mori and Louie were great company and easy to care for. I especially enjoyed cuddles with Louie, and giving him the belly rubs he enjoys so much. The location was great: close to grocery, Lake Merritt, cool urban walks full of inspiring murals and shops. Also a short drive away from hikes in nature in the Oakland hills. Thanks, Jocelyn, for a great experience!
Loved watching Judge! Cool and laid back dog - great temperament. They were welcoming and had everything needed and set up for me & were super responsive to questions, texts (and recommendations for great food& coffee spots). Their place is in a quiet neighborhood in Brooklyn and it’s a lovely spot to relax and do work with Judge for company. He’s also great company to wander to the local coffee shops and cafes, he’s so well behaved and just enjoys scratches on the head and your company. Would gladly sit for them again- thanks for having me!
I had such an amazing time at Heidi & Neil's lovely home caring for their beautiful dogs, Scooby & Merlot. From the moment I met Heidi & Neil, I felt welcome & comfortable. They were kind enough to pick me up from the train station with my luggage & invited me to stay a night before they left on their travels. They made a tasty home cooked meal & we chatted all evening/night, they gave me amazing travel tips & suggestions. The house & pet sit went extremely smoothly with the boys, they are both so affectionate. Scooby is so calm & does his own thing until he wants some human loving then he'll come to you for pets. While Merlot, in his younger age, is so bouncy & playful & just loves to be smothered in hugs & pets. Walking them both was a treat, with plenty of walking trails around Ruscombe & Twyford. I chose to walk them separately as Merlot could sometimes be a bit of a handful but nothing an experienced walker couldn't handle. But this just allowed me to see.more.of the beautiful surroundings. Train station, supermarkets, pubs/restaurants are all within walking distance, so a car isn't necessary. London is only a train ride away plus quick access to Windsor Castle, Oxford or Henley, if you wanted to explore out further than Twyford. I'm so very grateful I could add this pet sit to my amazing adventures while travelling in the UK. I'm so appreciative that I was able to meet such a caring & friendly family.
Max and Kirra were easy to look after. We loved hanging out with them. Robyn has a lovely home in a tranquil area, but close to facilities. Australind is a lovely part of the south west. Thanks for trusting us with your paets and home. We look forward to helping again in the future.
I had a lovely stay here with Jazz cat - thank you for having me! Jazz cat is very sweet and easy to look after, she would enjoy curling up next to me sometimes, coming to find me or just doing her own thing. Lynsey welcomed me into their home and made sure my stay was comfy and I had everything I needed. Communication was always super easy and I would definitely recommend this housesit to any cat lovers :)
I enjoyed my stay at Megan's lovely house, which is spacious and comfortable. The cats are easy to look after and good company. There is ample parking, a local shop and a nearby bus into Windsor. Otherwise it is a pleasant 20 minute walk into town. Windsor has plenty to interest visitors, whether shopping or history, plus nearby Eton and Windsor Great Park. Thank you for a lovely experience.
