This was our very first time using TrustedHouseSitters.com, and honestly, it felt like a dream. We were hopeful and optimistic and were pleasantly surprised that someone trusted us, even as novices on this platform. Although we are qualified pet/ house sitters, we had not used this particular service before. That being said, I had a really lovely conversation with Denise. We discussed our needs, their needs, and everything worked out beautifully. Denise and her family are incredibly kind and sweet. They clearly love their fur babies a lot and were wonderful to work with from the start. Despite not having a chance to meet the pets before they left for their trip, we were surprised by how trusting their pets had been. Initially, we were hesitant, worried that the animals might be scared of us, but they turned out to be wonderful. I've never experienced such a harmoniously diverse group of animals before. The cats and dogs all got along so well. It was very nice to start playing a game and have all 5 pets literally surround us to relax and enjoy the company together. It was so cute! They are very well bonded! We feel very fortunate to have had this experience. While we’ve heard some poor stories here and there, this was fantastic. The family was very sweet and accommodating. Our children had a blast, falling in love with the pets. They were such easy and loving companions! Overall, it was a great experience, and we are very thankful they chose us.

It was a pleasure to take care of Jen and Dan's home. It's in a beautiful setting within easy distance to all of Sarasota's awesome attractions. Moreover, Yoshi and Taz are a terrific pair to take care of. Yoshi is a very energetic dog who loves to play fetch with you. We agree with Jen's assessment on their listing that Yoshi is a strong dog which means a steady hand on the leash while walking. He can pull if he sees another dog or a cat. However, he's very obedient if you tell him no and we were able to walk him without any issues. He will cuddle with you every chance he gets so prepare for some adorable moments. Taz is a hoot. He does take some time to warm up to you. Once he does, he's ready for your attention. :) We will be more than glad to take care of them again in the future. Consider yourself fortunate if you are selected to take care of Jen and Dan's home and pets.
I had a wonderful time taking care of Maddie in Ryan and Emily's spacious two bedroom apartment! Maddie was such a gentle soul and enjoys snuggling up on the couch and in bed, she was so easy to take care of and what a nice companion to have. It was an absolute dream sit in the center of Tokyo, two stops from Shibuya, and less than 15-30 minutes away to all of Tokyo's main attractions. Highly recommended!!
