Kevin and Brenda were wonderful! Very kind and easy to work with. They left my place tidier than when I left it. My cat was well cared for. I would recommend them.
Jayne has been a great host and this is the second sit I’ve done for her. Leo is a friendly cat who has grown warmer and cuddlier the more I’ve known him! Very much recommend Jayne and Leo
This very enjoyable housesit started off with a lovely dinner prepared by John, introductions to the two cats, Ari and Little, a tour of the house and a drive to show us where the nearest beach was. A great evening with lots of interesting stories traded - thank you again, John. Ari and Little are independent characters and are easy to care for ... and while they have great hiding places in the house, they always showed up at feeding time. Communication with John, prior and during the sit, was great and their home is very comfortable with a well-equipped kitchen, attesting to John and Morna's love of cooking. We enjoyed using the fireplace in the cool evenings. Their home is in a large development and is a golfer's paradise with the course located on the Atlantic coast. Not being golfers, we enjoyed walking the many beaches in the area and exploring nearby historic sites. Peniche, about ten minutes's drive, has a great selection of grocery stores and a local market operating most days. Unfortunately, we did not get to meet Morna, but perhaps another time, we will get this opportunity. She has a really interesting collection of cookbooks which were a lot of fun to peruse. We highly recommend this sit - a great opportunity to experience living in central Portugal! Best wishes to both of you, John and Morna.
I really enjoyed my time in London (Walthamstow)! Overall, the experience was as described. Fiona and Ben communicated regularly and we're extremely helpful with recommendations in the area. They also were very clear about expectations with Bowie and helpful tips and tricks. They were super thoughtful overall and even had the dog-walker come by some days (giving me more flexibility to go downtown). They even arranged a friend to pop by on the dog, so I could visit a friend who was a little far away from their house. It was extremely kind and unexpected. The house and neighborhood were wonderful (especially spending time in the back garden). I really loved feeling like a local in London and experiencing what life is like there. The Tube is a 10 minute walk from the house, and about 30 minutes total to get to Central London. So it's fairly easy to explore. The house is also very nice and well appointed with everything you could need. Bowie loves attention and play time! He is a super loving dog and was my cute shadow - always wanting to play or cuddle with me on the couch. The garden makes things very easy bc you can let him out back to do his business (so late night walks aren't necessary). Bowie does have a few triggers to pay CLOSE attention to in order to avoid incidents. Such as the foxes that occasionally come into the backyard. It's super important to check the yard before letting him outside. He also reacts negatively to children, so be careful in public. As long as he isn't triggered, he is a happy-go-lucky pup! Overall, I had a great experience in London with Bowie!
Bella and Louie were a pleasure to look after and Sharon made me feel right at home. As this was my first sit, I hope any I do in the future will be just as enjoyable.
My time at Lisa's felt like a really nice staycation. Lola, Oscar and Mabel are incredibly sweet and easy to care for. It was rewarding when Mabel started to come out of her shell. The cats are very affectionate yet not at all demanding. The perfect companions! The location was great and the apartment was clean and cozy. Lisa is a great host and easy to communicate with. I highly recommend the sit.
Wonderful sit ! Roscoe is a lovely dog. He’s well trained, calm inside and excited outside, a real pleasure to see him so happy (running/jumping) on long walks. Ann & James welcomed us warmly and took time to explain everything before their departure. Also, their welcome guide is detailed, really nice for sitters, thank you again!
