Profound apologies Amanda this feedback is rather late. Here it is. I had the pleasure of sitting Bella & Luna for Amanda over a difficult 2 month period for me to see family. On that front , there are no words to thank Amanda for not only being a model host- making sure her home is clean and sitter ready on all aspects but for being so incredibly understanding and supportive when my mother’s health took a turn. I appreciated the extra mile and flexibility Amanda showed throughout and remain ever so grateful . We met up before Amanda left for the key and handover and to meet both kitties of course. Amanda was a joy from start to finish and very easy to get to know - friendly, easygoing, flexible, always thoughtful and very welcoming. We worked well together throughout the sit. On top of Amanda’s welcome guide, we texted and whatsapp in the lead up to fill in what I needed to know . I felt both comfortable and completely at ease throughout. The in person handover was straightforward and seamless. Communication was a breeze and always friendly. The sitter’s bedroom/ Amanda’s room is spacious, very quiet and comfortable - as is the apartment with space to work or lounge in. Sitters will love the easy access to the mall opposite… supermarket, cinema, cafes, eateries literally just a stroll away. You will have everything you need which is always much appreciated by sitters. You couldn’t ask for a better accessible location. It’s walking distance to the train station. There is plenty to do and explore. Icing on the cake for me were darling sisters Bella & Luna and the brilliant location of Amanda’s apartment. Both kitties were an absolute joy to sit, incredibly lovable, affectionate and very loving. They captured my heart from the onset and without exaggeration kept me sane over what was a trying time. It made a massive difference the way Amanda set up the feeding. The feeder dispensed breakfast, lunch and dinner which gives sitters a lot of flexibility. It turned out to be a godsend for me as I got my dates mixed up. I was able to keep my dates with Amanda, see to her girls without compromising anyone in the process. It was a matter of commuting which is feasible and easy to do in Singapore. Lots of bonding, pampering, play time and full on conversations with Bella & Luna. Truly such a joy and a breeze to care for and tons of fun. Both Bella & Luna are independent, intelligent, engaged and endearing characters- impossible not to love. Just so affectionate, playful & all round great company. Luna is shy and takes more time to get to know but she’s a joy once the initial hurdle is crossed. Bella is the extreme opposite. Very social, loves interacting, belly rubs, & snuggling on the couch or bed. In closing, massive thanks Amanda for picking and trusting me with the girls and your home. I hope the 3 of you will have me back at another time. I will get the dates right , believe me. I miss my full on conversations and eskimo nose to nose kisses from both girls more than you’d ever know. I recommend this sit wholeheartedly. 10 stars for Luna & Bella and 10 thumbs up for Amanda. You will enjoy this friendly ,thoughtful homeowner and her lovely home and neighbourhood. Above all the absolute joy of sitting Bella & Luna . Enjoy as much as I did.
Katie and Alex have a beautiful home with lots of character. They gave us lots of clear instructions on everything including Cocoa, the house, plants and things to do in the area. There is a store right behind the apartment so it’s easy to get what you need. The main city center is also only a 10 - 15 min walk with plenty of places to eat, drink and shop. Cocoa is a super sweet dog. She can take awhile to warm up to you but if you give her some treats she’ll come round and start coming to you for cuddles and belly rubs. On walks Cocoa loves to stop and smell the roses and gets quite excited when she sees other dogs but overall she’s great on the leash and will happily wander around with you for as long as you’ll go for, as long as it’s not too hot. The park nearby is a beautiful place for walks and Cocoas favorite. It gets very active here on the weekends, great for a picnic and there is also a cafe and mini golf course. We did have a small issue with Cocoa not eating her food but Katie and Alex were available via message and able to give us instructions to feed Cocoa some rice (which she loved) to settle her stomach. We loved our sit in Lübeburg and would happily return.
What a pleasure and privilege to care for a well-behaved dog! We were anxious about allowing Harley off-lead, but one walk with him and Jo gave us complete confidence in his excellent recall, and disciplined behaviour. We were warmly welcomed by Jo and Dan, who generously opened their beautiful home to us. We were very comfortably accommodated, and Jo was an easy and friendly communicator. Grocery shopping is easy with Lidl, Sainsbury’s and the Co-Op all within walking distance, and lovely walks alongside the river and in the fields are on the doorstep. The coast is an hour’s drive away, and Harley is a seasoned car traveller, who loves a romp on the beach. We could not recommend this sit more highly!
This House sit is well situated for access to Cambridge and the Fens. Christine was very welcoming and the cats, when around, were affectionate and easy to look after. Longstanton is a lively village with good facilities. Only downside is the roadworks that are currently taking place on the A14 but once finished should result in a vast improvement.
We absolutely loved looking after Finchley and Ebony, and Sally and Neil are lovely people and wonderful hosts. Both dogs are well trained, and have such great personalities, they were an absolute joy to care for. Sally and Neil have a beautiful home, that they made us feel very welcome in. This a lovely location to explore the coast and New Forest. Thank you so much, I really hope we can come back for more fusses with Finchley and Ebony.
Our first TrustedHousesitters experience was truly unforgettable. From the delightful companionship of Mona, a loving and obedient French Bulldog, to the impeccable house, outstanding location, and exceptional hosts - Jeff and Rustin, every aspect exceeded our expectations. Mona captured our hearts from the start, with her friendly nature and impeccable behavior. She was the epitome of a perfect companion—friendly, affectionate, and incredibly well-behaved. As animal lovers, we had the privilege of caring for Mona during our stay, and it was an absolute joy. Mona loves her orange ball and toys, and it was heartwarming to see her joyfully play with them. Her eyes would light up with excitement!! One of her favorite pastimes was watching the deers in the park, her curiosity shining through her every movement. She also loves sunbathing on the terrace. Mona's presence was a constant source of comfort and happiness. Whether we were working or enjoying a movie, she was always by our side, offering unconditional love and companionship. The bond we formed will be cherished forever, and we are grateful for this incredible connection. The house itself was a haven of cleanliness and attention to detail. It felt like a home away from home—a cozy sanctuary where we could work, relax and unwind. The well-maintained environment made it easy for us to settle in and establish a comfortable routine. Jeff and Rustin’s thoughtfulness was evident in every corner, from the personalized touches like a rose on the toilet paper to the small gestures like adjusting the thermostat from Fahrenheit to Celsius, ensuring our comfort. The location was simply outstanding, offering breathtaking views and a serene environment. Whether we were exploring the charming neighborhood or taking Mona for a walk in the nearby park, tranquility and beauty surrounded us at every turn. But what truly made this experience exceptional was Jeff and Rustin’s warmth, hospitality and generosity. Their attention to detail and genuine care created a welcoming atmosphere that made us feel like valued guests. From their dinner invitation to the personal tour they gave us of the area, driving us to the grocery store, the delicious cupcakes, to picking us up from the airport, the wonderful cookies and chocolates by the bedside, they went above and beyond to ensure we had an incredible stay. We highly recommend this sit to anyone seeking unforgettable pet-sitting experiences and remarkable accommodations.
