What a beautiful furry family! Marsha is such a sweetie, she is a very intelligent dog and just loves to cuddle and hang out. Gary and Joyce are adorable Sphinx cats that want to cuddle even more and were a joy to take care of. The house has everything you need to feel welcome and comfortable, and Vanessa and Michael were so warm and friendly with us. We arrived a bit earlier, got to spend time with them, get to know the animals, we even went out for pizza! We had a great time all around and would come back anytime they needed us to. ♥

We had a great time looking after Walter and Bodhi. Gail was the perfect host - even though we didn't meet, she left everything we needed and was accessible and in contact for questions. The guest room was very comfortable. Her townhouse is in a really good location - not far from downtown but in a nice residential neighbourhood. We went on several walks and really liked the area. Some great restaurants nearby (walking distance). Bodhi and Walter were very sweet - Bodhi really warmed up to us and slept with us and got cuddly while we watched TV. Walter was a lot more nervous of us but we were only there three days so he might have needed more time. We noticed that he was more reluctant to come out from under the bed when both of us were upstairs (which made feeding time more difficult as his food was "delivered " to him but then he also needed to have Bodhi fended off while he ate!). He came out more willingly when only one of us was around. Even if the second person was just sitting in the living room, he beetled under the bed again if he heard their voice. So if there are two sitters we'd recommend that one stay out of the way (and not talk!!) at feeding time! With only a single sitter he'd probably warm up much more quickly.

We loved our "weekend getaway" with Bodhi and Walter and we'd absolutely sit for Gail and Bodhi and Walter again.

Churro was such a cutie! He will absolutely love being around you and often chooses to snuggle on your lap or with you in bed although he can be independent and explore on his own too - he just likes knowing you're near! He is great to walk and loves playing with his ball as long as you're happy to keep throwing it :) Colleen had great communication both before and during the housesit and was readily available with any questions I had. The house itself is lovely and quite easy to look after. There are public transport options available nearby and shops quite close too although I mostly used a car while I was there. Would happily recommend this housesit! Thanks for having me Colleen!
