We could not have asked for better sitters! Woodie and Cheryl attended so lovingly to our pup Akela. They took her on all kinds of hikes and activities! We loved the many photos and sweet updates they sent us. A total bonus: our house was left absolutely spotless! They even swept the front and back porch! Thank you so much, Woodie and Cheryl!
We loved staying at Lucy and Steve’s home in Blaenavon with Barney. Barney is the sweetest, easiest going dog! Lucy gave us incredibly clear instructions about what would work best for Barney. We enjoyed his company both in and out of the house. We felt so welcome and comfortable in their bright, modern home. Our 11 year old daughter loved spending time with Barney. Blaenavon is a world heritage site with a fascinating history. We had an amazing trip down Big Pit and on the steam train. The surrounding countryside is stunning. We loved nearby Abergavenny and the Angel Bakery. Thank you Lucy, Steve and Barney for a great stay.
Words cannot describe how lovely my time with Poppyseed in San Francisco was. She was not only the sweetest, cutest girl, she was also the most well behaved doggy ever. We took more walks to Alamo Square park than I can count and cuddled on the couch watching Netflix every night. Rachel's house is a sanctuary tucked away in the hustle and bustle of the city, truly a comfortable and happy stay. I would recommend this sit to anyone but hopefully I can keep Poppyseed all to myself :)
Ian and Jayne gave us a warm welcome and showed us around before their departure. The house sit itself was very comfortable and enjoyable. The sheep and chicken were straightforward to look after, despite it being a new experience for us. Overall it was a successful sit for us, which we hope to repeat in the future.
I had a brilliant time looking after Rosie and Dingo! Dingo is a big softie who enjoys his walks but is mainly content sunbathing in the garden and getting lots of love. Rosie is more active and loves walks and playing football in the garden. Both are friendly dogs, well trained and great fun to look after. Allie and Colin were so welcoming and made me feel at home straight away. They were excellent at communicating and just all around lovely people. The house and garden are great, there is a lot of space and it’s clean and tidy. Parede is close to the beach, some lovely costal towns and Lisbon so a great location to explore the area. I’d highly recommend this sit to anyone and I’m sure I’ll be back!
I had such a great experience watching over Leo and Ponyo - they were very sweet dogs. Leo is very mellow and friendly and also goofy in a fun way. Ponyo is vocal and lets his emotions out by howling when he is alone in a room missing people. I really appreciated having these two around as company while working remotely and I enjoyed both of their fun personalities. The home is within minutes walking distance to the heart of the Greystones - most of the shops and restaurants in the village. Mona and her family were very generous with their home, and even introduced me to their friends and neighbors since they knew I would be in Ireland on my own. Their hospitality really made my experience in Ireland something I will look back on as a huge success. I would highly recommend this sit!
This is a stunning venue with 2 of the most adorable dogs you're likely to meet. It's a safe, gated environment, not far from Capitola and Santa Cruz, with stunning views of Monterrey Bay. Steph is kind and gentle, and has built a lovely home for herself, with everything you could possibly need. The only downside is the constant communication with the landowners when taking the dogs out. Because I haven't got an iPhone, this made things much harder than they probably should be. Also, you probably need to be comfortable with horses, as you'll have to go through the field they're in to get to the cottage. Having said all that, I'll definitely be back if asked!
