was invited to sit Tippex for Terese and Chris and the sit turned out to be a jewel in more ways than one. It’s one of those sits that’s difficult to adequately quantify in a sit feedback but I will do my utmost. have been house/petsitting for a few years now and have been blessed with many wonderful sits. But like everything in life, some things you enjoy more than others. And this was one of those instances where you feel blessed beyond words. Both Terese and Chris are exceptional hosts - kind, considerate, very helpful, flexible and fun to get to know. We hit it off from the very start which always helps. You will love their wonderful sense of humour which made the daily updates and exchanges such a joy . Their beautiful home is located in a magical spot and feels as if you’re right on the gateway to heaven’s loft. The picturesque view takes your breath away, whether it’s on a lovely sunny day and the rolling hills are bathed in glorious sunshine or when the horizon is transformed in the stunning hues of sunset. It’s just magical in every way and food for the soul. Even on wet and blustery days it still takes your breath away. Icing on the cake – his lordship and maestro Tippex. The absolute love of mommy’s life. It’s easy to see why. Thankfully we bonded from the onset and got on famously. I’m not sure who had more fun but I was only too happy to be Tippex’s BFF and playmate. Such a cheeky charmer and playful kitten at heart. His expressions and antics are both priceless and funny and I found myself peeling in laughter. Honestly I don’t think Tippex knows he’s a cat. He’s just so lovable and very easy to care for. If it isn’t already obvious, this is a dream sit. Lovely homeowners. Friendly neighbours. Stunning and tranquil surroundings of natural beauty. You will have everything you need. The house is gorgeous , modern and very clean & tidy. . Terese and Chris are super organised. I was spoilt for choice on channels & shows to watch :) Some may find it a tad remote but it’s very accessible especially if you drive. Burton on Trent is a short drive away as is Lichfield. Derby is just 10 minutes by train . Tons of areas of natural beauty to explore . All the major supermarkets deliver. I can’t thank you Terese, Chris and darling Tippex enough for the kind invitation. It has been a privilege sitting for you. Needless to say I thoroughly enjoyed sitting Tippex for you and recommend this sit highly and would certainly sit for you again and again.
The trip in Alison’s house was perfect. Lili, Gus and Willow are so cute and they are very playful and calm at the same time. Pistachio is quite chatty, we love that. The house was beautiful, confortable and clean. St Leonards is a lovely town where it’s nice to walk around, supermarket and the beach are 10 minutes away from the house by walk. I highly recommend to be house sitters for Alison :)
Dora & Jose are very friendly and welcoming and are certainly devoted to their pet family. I found the sit a lively experience particularly with the addition of their new French bulldog puppy Zeni who is adorable and a bundle of energy. He certainly gave the bunnies and me the run around! I’d like to thank Dora & Jose for making me feel so welcome in their home and wish them both well in their future endeavours. My reason for scoring one less is because I was only made aware of Zeni at the very last minute so the sit was a bit different from my expectations
A great success from start to finish - Ruth and Geoff were very welcoming, generous and ever helpful. Thank you! Great communication from way before arrival, but also throughout the sit. The apartment is very well equipped, in wonderfully peaceful surroundings, including communal indoor pool and BBQ deck. As for Cloud himself, he is a pleasure to live with, no great demands in his routine, he speaks up when he wants, but also playful and very affectionate. We enjoyed each other's company, all in all a great experience. 👍
House sitting for Mo in San Francisco was a total delight! Her cats were so sweet and lovely to be around, and her home was beautiful and had a stunning view of the ocean. Mo was extremely organized and detailed in her instructions and was always available during the house sit if I needed it.
