Bernard (Jerry) and MIchelle are terrific housesitters and terrific people. They took great care of our Labradoodle and our home, even when the weather dealt them extra, unexpected challenges with a big winter storm. It was good knowing our place and pet were in the caring hands of such responsible home owners. They kept us updated while taking care of all that needed extra attention. The house was perfectly clean and our dog was happy and obviously well taken care of when we returned. We would give Michelle and Jerry our highest recommendation!
Paula and Dave were incredible hosts and the whole pack of fur balls were an absolute delight. The house and property are so gorgeous, that it felt like a luxury boutique hotel. Magnificent views and walks right off the doorstep, with so many beautiful trails to explore in the vicinity, that the only thing lacking was more time. I would go back in a heart beat and highly recommend this sit to anyone. Thanks Paula and Dave for your warm hospitality and generosity, especially the use of your car which made adventures to the beautiful Quantocks accessible.
We arrived two days prior to the sit. Christine very kindly cooked two lovely meals for us and explained everything as regards looking after the chickens and the house, including the pond/plants and the gardens. Unfortunately due to the bad weather we couldn't mow the lawns with the ride on mower! We had our own room and bathroom with full use of all the ingredients in the well stocked store cupboards, Christine also left fresh bread and vegetables in the fridge to use. We didn't have any problems but if we did, we knew Christine was on hand to offer her help. We spent three weeks at the house and we would highly recommend this sit. We'd love to come back if she ever needed a sitter in the future.
Lovely place to stay, Huckleberry is a sweet heart and loves all over you. Enjoyed staying in this location as well, reasonable distance from DC with a creek and hiking trail in the back. Thanks for trusting me with your doggo roommate!
I had a great time at David’s and Paul’s beautiful house! Fang and Louis are really easy to look after - they have such different characters and sometimes is quite funny how they put up with each other. David and Paul are very friendly and made sure I felt comfortable since the beginning of my stay. The house is really spacious and the backyard is just beautiful! I would definitely love to come back!
I had such a fab time looking after Oat and Prune! They are the sweetest kitties and have such big personalities 😂 Jack and Natalie’s house is awesome and in such a great location! They were both super communicative whilst away too!
