Hannah was a fantastic sitter! She was very communicative, and Rhea warmed up to her nicely after a few days. The place was clean and tidy when I got back. I can't recommend Hannah enough!
The time with Flopsy and Merlino in Edinburgh was wonderful. Such sweet rabbits and very different in personality. The cosy house is only a 3 minute walk from bus stops to many destinations and of course Edinburgh. Emma is incredibly warm, open, helpful and welcoming. I can only give her an absolute recommendation and would love to come back.
Great spot (c'mon, it's Hawaii); great dog Snickers; great people. Close enough to visit volcano and beaches. Places to walk and explore. Sweet dog to be with and take care of. Loved every minute. House is easy to maintain and garden fun to tidy and water. The view is .....perfect.
Darren & Elliott were the first people to accept my sit on here which I am massively grateful for, which is a testament to the great people they are. I knew the second we met we would get along, they are both lovely and welcoming - very funny, kind and personable. I felt at ease the second I walked through the door and their house is just beautiful. The bed & linen is a DREAM and the house is immaculately clean and modern. The area is quick into London on the central line, but there’s also lots of great restaurants/ pubs/ delis in the more local area. Likewise there’s lots of lovely woods and countryside-esque areas to explore locally too (I’d recommend Claybury Park & Hainault!). Onto the best part!! Scampi is an absolute Angel - so sweet & reminds me of a little fox! If you play with her and her chicken toy you will soon become fast friends. She truly is a princess in the best meaning of the word ? she became my little shadow by the end of the sit and I was very sad to say goodbye ? Alfie is also a very sweet big boy, but definitely very independent! Thank you for having me & hope to return one day!!?
A big thank you to Lisa and Paul for entrusting your home and pets with us. Prior to the sit we chatted on What’s App and Lisa included a comprehensive welcome guide on the website. On our arrival we were made very welcome, and found the home very comfortable. The 2 dogs, Madra and Digby were very well behaved and a joy to walk through the woodland, fields and footpaths. Madra, although an old lady still loves her walks with Digby, going at her own pace. Digby has such a huge character for a little dog. He loves his runs in the fields but is patient, waiting for Madra when on walks. Madra loves attention, enjoys being stroked and paws you when you stop, wanting more. Baloo and Ginge, the cats were both really affectionate, Ginge especially was like a shadow following us round the house. They are great friends with Madra and Digby and it was lovely to see all four of them happily together. This is the perfect sit in such an idyllic location, so private and peaceful with the most wonderful vistas of Cardigan Bay, spectacular sunsets over the sea, and such adorable pets. We were sad to leave and would happily return.
What a wonderful week I had with Ricky and Lucy at Anita (and Doug's) house! The kitties were a little shy the first day but once they realized they had the house to themselves they relaxed into it. Anita's house was amazing and relaxing. Couldn't imagine a better fist house sit with this site.
We had a suberb time in Collex, CH where we stayed for 4 weeks during the summer holidays. Ian, Cassandra and their (lovely!) daughter Malena are a beautiful family who do everything to make you feel at home. We had (award winning!) cheese fondue together on our arrival night which made a great welcome. The house is a little paradise, very comfortable and private. With the high temperatures we had these days the pool was a great joy. Our girls still miss Bärli & Waffles. They slept all in 1 bed every night and they make great playmates. They both have their history and benefit from hugs, love and attention. The more the better;-) It helps when you are familiar with (rescue)dogs to read their needs. Our walks with them were a great pleasure and in the house they preferred to stay close to us which we all enjoyed very much. Waffles has his 'crazy half hour' every evening after dinner where he would be racing through the garden chased by our girls. His speed is A-MA-ZING!! So much fun to see. Long story short....GO here if you can, you will not be dissappointed with this housesit!! Enjoy!
