Mandy is super sweet and made us feel right at home. Her fur babies, Azula and Gonzo, stole our hearts during our two week sit. Azula is a sweet puppy with tons of energy and brought so much life to my old dog, Charlie. Gonzo is the most social cat you’ll ever meet! Leaving them was hard. We would house-sit for Mandy again, anytime!
We had the opportunity to get to know both Bee and Pearly while staying in Jinni's lovely mountain home. Although we started our month-long sit just as a very volatile weather pattern began in the area (we got to see a 6-inch snowfall, among other things), everything else was really very enjoyable. The house is located up a series of steep and scenic switchback roads to the very top, is comfortable and rustic, and partially heated by a wood stove. There is tasty captured rain water for drinking, fresh lemons straight from the tree, and a lovely view of the sunset whenever the weather cooperates. Jinni and Neil were both very supportive and ready to answer questions or provide guidance despite physically being on the other side of the planet. As to the pets, we developed a strong bond with Bee - she is an absolutely lovely little bundle of joy who is ever-ready to play, snuggle, go for a surprisingly long run given her size, or participate in whatever you are doing.
We had a great time at Randy and Shara's home. They have a Beautiful home with a gorgeous backyard. We loved taking care of the entire crew. Rico did his own thing, while Miley is so loveable and always wanted your attention. Both of them hung out with us the entire time while we hung out at the pool. Friday the bunny is just too cute. They were all very easy going and easy to care for. We visited both Siesta and Anna Maria Island beaches, both so beautiful. We definitely recommend this sit.
I had a fantastic week at Sarah's home. The cats are all wonderfully unique; Tigger is a free spirit who became a cuddle-bug at meal times. Phoebe is sweet as sugar and could often be found by my side being curious. Raye was a bit nervous at first, but grew to love a cuddle when the other two weren't around! I loved our daily playtimes, they love to chase (especially if it's a treat they're chasing!) Peach the gecko was also a breeze to look after. I met Sarah before she left, she is a very welcoming and helpful host. The home is absolutely lovely. A very short walk to a fantastic large high street, and a bus stop right next to the house to take you in to the city centre. I would definitely recommend this sit.. thanks again! 😸🦎
I have enjoyed pet sitting for Masik. He is a very sweet cat, Alessia was very considerate and gave all the necessary information to take good care of Masik, also about his personality. The location of the apartment is very central, it has many advantages as you can reach lots of place by foot, for example. The only drawback is that it can be pretty noisy at night. The communication during the pet sit time was smooth. Only on the final day, I had some worries, but I soon understood why I was not receiving news from Alessia: her phone had gone missing! On a general basis, I can say that Alessia is thoughtful and caring. And I can recommend her. :-)
