We had a great time with Louis! He is very cuddly, relaxed and likes to go outside. He is reliable and always comes back. The communication with Julia and Jonas was smooth and easy. The apartment is nice and has everything you could wish for. The neighbourhood is quite green and calm, the ride to the city center is only 15 minutes. We can highly recommend sitting Louis and would always go back!
Bilitis was the most welcoming and generous host! She made us feel quite at home in her beautiful artist’s apartment and allowed us to use the home grown herbs as well as ripe tomatoes. With the apartment came the very friendly downstairs neighbor who would offer figs from the huge tree in the garden - a little paradise in the city! While Lilou warmed up to us after a day and even crawled into bed to snuggle once, Raoul was hardly ever seen - he is really timid! As the cats are allowed outdoors and have access to food and water in the cellar, they don’t necessarily have to enter the apartment to have their needs fulfilled, so he could act like a ghost. All in all they were really low-maintenance - the tasks mainly being feeding them once in the morning and once in the evening and petting Lilou whenever she requested it. She is a very sweet cat that makes her needs clear. And Toulouse is a gorgeous city that is definitely worth a visit! We’re so glad we got to be there. Thank you so much for this amazing week, Bilitis!
Wally and Paisley were wonderful furry hosts. We really enjoyed our time with them. Wally is quick to warm up to you (and is a great furnace at night). Paisley takes a little longer, but she will also hang out with you whether you're watching tv (she loves the footrest on the recliner) or in the kitchen. They know their way around the neighborhood so walks are very easy. Barb is very communicative and responds quickly if needed. She made us feel very comfortable. The house is also very easy to stay in- a great kitchen, big screen TV, and our own bath. The neighborhood is very close to everything local and to the highways for a longer trip. The sign of a good sit is when you want to stay in touch with the homeowner and updated on the pets. This sit fit the bill.
Martin and Jane are wonderful people (great communication and very kind) and their home is a beautiful treat. We throughly enjoyed caring for the sweetest Miss Poppy and look forward to visiting again soon! This area of Scotland is the most beautiful! We look forward to sitting for them again!
Cindy and David were wonderfully accommodating and made me feel right at home. Winston and George were a ton of fun to spend the weekend chilling out with. We had to spend the weekend being extra calm, and their house was such a beautiful place to enjoy that time with the boys.
