David and Dottie had a short stay with Nalah and did a great job. Nalah was happy and relaxed when I arrived home, my place was extra clean, and we had good communication throughout the stay.
My friend and I absolutely loved sitting for Brian and Alan and their two gorgeous cats, Gracie and Bertie (their two dogs were traveling with them on this occasion). The kitties were quite independent and very easy to care for. Gracie, the ragdoll, was accepting of these new people in her midst very quickly and liked to play and be stroked, even tolerating brushing (until she didn’t). Bertie was shyer, but warmed up soon enough, and liked to stay near us and enjoyed some affection, on his terms of course. The home was absolutely charming, comfortable, and well provisioned with everything we needed. Although rural, which made it so quiet and peaceful, it was perfectly situated for exploring the Burren and nearby Doolin, the Cliffs of Moher and Fanore Beach. In a word, it was perfect. Lastly, hosts Brian and Alan are amazing. They welcomed us like old friends, and made us feel immediately at home. We discussed pet care — and much more — over a delicious meal Brian made. We like them so much and wish we lived closer so we could spend more time with them. I guess we’ll just have to sit for them again. Brian and Alan, thank you so much for your warmth, generosity, and general good cheer. It was a joy to spend time there. I so hope our paths do cross again.
I agree this was a disaster but only b/c Todd was extremely rude, arrogant, and disrespectful! I have never been treated so poorly in my life. He agreed to have an Uber for me available at the airport, which he did not, I had to contact him several times while at the airport before finally reaching him only to learn that an Uber was never ordered! By the time the driver finally arrived I was lucky to find him/he said he was told to look for a man/Todd. While in route to his house (13 hrs later) I texted to ask if I should get food on my way as it was late & I was starving - he said no. When I arrived, he didn’t have so much as a peanut much less a glass of water for me, nor did he greet me when I arrived but spent @ 10 minutes talking to the Uber driver, shook his hand, and refused to acknowledge me. Even the driver was like WTH? (Props to the driver who texted me when he left as he was concerned how blatantly rude Todd was to me.) They have several stairs that were not lit up in anyway, which was a danger at night, fortunately, I’m always home b4 dark! My room was not ready & had to spend the 1st night downstairs. He has an elderly dog who is overweight & only three legs, yet no choice but to hike those stairs multiple time a day which is so strenuous for him. (Even a fellow petsitter who visited said they wud be tempted to rpt it! The bed was a patio cushion, he refused to tell me abt any keys, codes, music or TV. Please take note that I did not leave their home until they had secured a new sitter and left their place/pets in perfect condition until his sister arrived. It was a very unfortunate experience. I feel bad 4 the girlfriend, the pups, even the neighbors! It was obvious this guy had a bad rep. Sorry I wasn’t brave enuf to share this right away but I was trying to eliminate the bad energy. But there it is…my one/only bad experience…and my one and only less than perfect review. I take great pride in loving peoples homes & pets & no matter what I’ll take care of what I’ve committed to - as long as there is mutual respect & people r treated appropriately! Whew!
We had a wonderful time looking after Nala, Rex and Blue. Ceri and John are great people and really made us feel at home; Ceri even picked us up and dropped us off at the train station. The house is incredible and the pets were easy to look after. We enjoyed taking Nala for walks and exploring everything that Winterslow and Salisbury had to offer. Would love to come back again :)
We loved our stay with Bella! She is so sweet and gentle! She made a great companion for exploring the area. Joe and Carolyn are wonderful people, so thoughful and welcoming! We found their local advice very useful. Can't wait to visit them again!
Lovely couple and lovely home. I had a great time looking after Bailey. She is a sweetheart who loves to play, meet new people and cuddle if she gets the chance! Communication with Emily was clear throughout and their neighbour was also helpful.
I had a nice weekend with Buddy in Wiesbaden! Cory and Silke provided me with every information I needed about the flat and about Buddy. Therefore it wasn’t a surprise for me when he acted very shy and seemed like he didn’t want a stranger in his home at first. But especially on the last day I noticed how he opened up more to me and even started playing a bit. I’m sure after a bit of time he is the loveliest cat and I’m looking forward to spending time with him again in the future.☺️ Apart from that the apartment is clean and equipped with everything you need. The balcony is a dream! For both humans and cats.🐱 I can really recommend this sit if you are willing to give Buddy enough space and take it slow to gain his trust. Thanks again for having me! Nelly

We have been using Becky's pet sitting for 8 years for our dog, "Doug". Doug always is ready to see Becky, and her dogs, and loves it there. When we pick him up he is happy, clean, and well cared for. He has a strict diet and medication and Becky has always managed this well. We find her price of $35 a day to be a bargain for the quality of care Doug receives.
I can not recommend Becky's Pet Sitting enough. Becky saved us in a pinch when we had to relocate our pup while on vacation at the very last minute, then was kind enough to respond to our check-ins promptly and with great pictures and video. Our dog was quite happy playing in Becky's backyard with Becky's own dog, and you can't beat her prices - quite affordable for the quality of care. If you're in the area and need some short-term boarding for your small pup, I really can't recommend Becky enough.
Our two dogs received excellent care with Becky even during a major snowstorm and power outage. She is calm and kind and was well prepared with a generator. We knew our pups were doing well under her care. We will definitely use her services again!
I would highly recommend Becky for all of your dog boarding needs. I feel so lucky to have found Becky! I have a 2 year old hound dog that can be too high energy for people to deal with, I kept expecting a phone call saying it wasn’t working out, but to my surprise Becky handles Arlo very well and seems to have a great relationship with him just like I do! It was an unexpected and added benefit that Becky also works on leash training with him (very important issue). I suddenly noticed he was getting better and better on the leash and I couldn’t believe it. My dog is always happy and tired when he comes home from Becky’s and he is ALWAYS excited to go back! I think he now thinks of Becky as a second mom and he loves her so much, you can tell by how excited he is to go to her house! I couldn’t imagine a better situation for us! There are a lot of options nowadays when it comes to dog boarding but Becky’s Dog Boarding is #1 in our family and I would encourage you to try it too! Becky is wonderful and I am so glad to have her in our lives!
Becky has been a lifesaver. We tried other local boarding options with less than desirable results. Our dog is always happy to see Becky and comes home well loved, clean and happy. We have been taking our dog to Becky for over two years, several times per year and she has always been available to take him even if short notice. We love Becky and would highly reccomend!
Thank goodness for Becky! I love her in home pet care service. Now we don’t have to worry about if our dogs are stressed out in a kennel boarding facility. We know our dogs are being cared for in a home setting and we can feel better about having to leave out of town. A previous review said she was rude but I believe they mistook her “to the point professionalism” the wrong way because she’s very nice. She’s just making sure all dogs are vaccinated and neutered for her safety as well as every pet that stays with her!
I’ve been taking my Australian Shepherd, Mattie, to Becky’s for 12 of her 14 years. The first two years I took Mattie to 2 other boarding facilities and was always apprehensive about her condition when I dropped her off, she was stressed out and reluctant to enter the facilities. When I would pick her up she was frequently was overly excited, lost weight and could take a couple of days to recover. I never had these problems with Becky. Mattie would always gladly trot beside her when I dropped her off and she would run to me when I picked her up looking happy and healthy. I would highly recommend Becky’s Pet Boarding. Another review mentioned Becky had been rude to the reviewer. Becky has always been very professional with me and great with my dog.
Magnolia, our 16 month old girl, was greatly taken care of!!! It was the first time for her(and us) and we were all a bit nervous….but Becky took absolutely excellent care of our girl!!! Definitely recommend and definitely will use Becky in the future!!! Awesome.
I had to go away for a few days and couldn't take and my old beagle with me. Becky responded to my email query very quickly, her rates are great, and she takes excellent care of the pets. She has an enclosed yard for them, and takes care to make sure they are properly vaccinated before accepting them into her care. Can't recommend her any higher!
Great thanks to Google for being able to find the best doggie day care imaginable. From day one, Becky's Pet Sitting has given me the piece of mind to drop the dogs off knowing they were in loving, caring hands. Becky has been caring for my dogs six days a week for over a month. When we turn off Brunswick onto her street the dogs start wagging their tails in anticipation! My highest recommendation!!!
The best day care pet sitting around! A five star rating from me. Maggie adores Brian and can't wait until she is in his car with all her buddies. She comes home all tired out and ready to just cuddle up for the evening. One happy dog. All of the dogs Brian and Melinda take into their day care are friendly, sociable and fun loving. I feel so fortunate to have met Brian at the dog park a year ago, as I can work full time and know that Maggie is having a great time all day! Brian is truly my dogs best buddy. I rescued Sandy in February, she’s a year and a half old golden doodle, full of energy and excitement. Brian has been caring for my girl twice a week since then, she comes home happy and tired. While I’m at work I know Sandy is having fun, Brian sometimes texts me photos of her day and it always brings a smile to my face. But mostly, I know Sandy is in loving hands. Brian is honest, dependable, flexible and he clearly loves dogs. I don’t know what we would do without him.
Brian and Melinda were great to work with. I was coming to grass valley from Mexico for world fest and needed a dog lover to care for my dog child while I was at the music festival. When I called Brian and told him the situation. He asked all the appropriate questions and emailed me paperwork to fill out and send back to him, and gave me his Face Book Page info. This was all six months prior to the music festival. I checked in with him 2 months and 2 week prior to my boy”s stay and Brian said they were anxiously awaiting his visit. On the day of the arrival Brian introduced my child to his outside of the home to make sure all went well and it did. While I was at the music festival Brain was kind enough to send me pictures of my boy playing and having fun. When I picked my boy up from Melinda ( Brian was working) my boy was very relaxed and happy. I can only tell you if you want someone to love your fur as much as you do, I would highly recommend A Dog”s Best Buddy, because I believe Brian and Melinda really do think of dogs as their buddies.
Brian is fantastic! I always feel so comfortable leaving my dog Watson with him. I started taking Watson to Brian when he was a puppy, under 1 years old. Brian is patient with puppy behavior, and also provides helpful feedback on how they behaved. Brian has been the consummate professional dog walker for me. I find him to be thorough, reliable and flexible as his schedule allows. Brian bailed me out of a difficult situation wherein my vacation dog sitter did not honor our agreement and I was left with no back-up plan and only a couple of days to figure things out. Being that I work so much and also have a tremendous amount of love and affection for my dog, Brian helps bridge that gap in my life.
My 10 month old Lab, Gus, has been going to A Dog's Best Buddy Pet Sitting, several days a week over the past several months. Gus loves to spend time with Brian and always comes home well cared for, exercised and tired. Brian sends me pictures of Gus throughout the day and keeps me posted on Gus's activities. Brian has been a great help looking after my 3 year old Austrialian Shepherd, Simon, when I am working or traveling. My dog is full of energy and could get anxious when I am not around. Brian did not have trouble winning Simon’s affection. My dog always looks forward to spending time with Brian. I work long hours and Brian tries to be flexible to accommodate my schedule. He actually picks up and drop off Simon where I work. Without Brian, I do not know how i’d keep my dog and be able to work. He also send pictures of my happy Simon, which serve as pick me up when I’m exhausted at work.
My dog "Chewie" loves her walks with Brian! She comes back exhausted and sleeps all afternoon, such a great outlet for her puppy energy - and excellent socialization too. Brian is super-professional and great to interact with, and i love getting the text-message updates and videos during her walks, I can see she's having so much fun.

My dog is an active husky and slightly timid/anxious without me around. After a recent escape adventure from a friends house, I was really nervous to board him anywhere but had to leave someone suddenly for a family emergency. I was so lucky that Gina had space, as Dogwoods Resort was the only place I was really willing to consider. Gina is so good with the dogs, and the property is absolutely perfect, with large fenced areas for them to run around. Being a helicopter mom, I went in for a meet and greet before our reservation and after seeing the place and meeting Gina, any concerns I may have had were put at ease knowing that my dog would be safe, have lots of room to play, and could be social with other dogs. He came home dirty, tired and happy and that is exactly what I wanted for my pup. I know it can be hard to get a booking, but I understand why - I wouldn’t want to leave my dog anywhere else. Can’t recommend this place enough.

I have been taking my dogs to Dog Woods for at least 10 years. I wouldn't take them anywhere else. The property is beautiful and I know Grizzly is being well cared for and having fun all day with the other dogs. When he comes home he sleeps for hours. It is not your typical daycare. Gina does a really fantastic job. Communication is excellent and it's easy to book a reservation. Grizzly loves Dog Woods. He will be back often.
Our fur babies love going to Auntie Gina's! They will vocally express their excitement and wag their tails once we turn onto the road leading to Dog Woods. We miss them while we are away, but know they are extremely well taken care of and most of all loved. Jeff and Dalaina
I have brought my Great Dane here many times, Gina takes amazing care of my dogs, and all of the dogs in her care. Easy booking, great communication, and lovely facility. If your dog needs a place to have fun while you’re on vacation this is the place to go.
Our pups have stayed with Dog Woods several times over a couple of years. We have a rescue that is overly cautious of new people, but is excited every time we pull up to the Resort. Moose, Pua, and their humans 100% recommend.

Dogwoods also makes accommodations for dogs with special needs and senior dogs who need a little more attention. You can rest, assured your dog will be in great hands and allow to enjoy your vacation knowing your dog go is having a blast and is being well cared for!

We have been using Sophia regularly this summer to take care of our large dog Nash when we travel and we are so happy to have found her! Sophia is our go-to sitter when we need to leave the dogs at home. It gives us such peace of mind knowing they are taken care of while we are away. She not only takes care of the dogs, but has been great about watering plants when needed and always makes sure our house is safe and secure while we are gone. Our boy Vinz just had his first stay with Stacey and Steven. They were amazing! So patient with our boy since he is still a pup! They sent pictures while we were away and let us know how he was doing throughout his stay. This gave me great peace of mind since it was our first time leaving him. You can see how passionate they both are about animals and love knowing how happy Vinz was. We will definitely be using Pawsome pets again!!

They took great care of my dog, I loved getting pictures, videos and updates daily. My dog came home so happy, clean and well cared for ! The property is well fenced and kept my dog in , she was able to run and explore all she wanted. I loved seeing pictures of her playing with the other dogs, and getting love from Steve and Stacey as well as getting warm by the fire 😎 Highly recommend. They are very affordable.
I am so grateful for Pawsome Pet Services. They have cared for my 3, and now 2 (RIP Miss Roxy), fur babies since 2018. One of my pooches is blind and the other is deaf. Our miniature poodle stayed at Pawsome Pet Services while we went on vacation. I received daily text updates and pictures which was great. Buddy got along great with the other dogs it was nice knowing that he was well cared for while we were away. Pawsome Pets is awesome! Like many of us, my dogs are my babies and when they’re at Pawsome Pets, they’re treated like a member of their family! They have full run of the house and yard. I get daily pictures of them playing with other pups or snuggling in the owner’s lap etc. Pawsome Pets allows me to go on vacation without worrying about my babies at all. They think they’re on vacation!!

We have been using Auburn Kennels for at least ten years. The animals love it and the care is wonderful.
My dog loves to go to auburn kennels. When I pick her up she always heads back to the door to go back in. She doesn’t want to leave. That makes me feel so good knowing she loves it. The staff is friendly, professional and they love dogs and cats. The kennel is in a beautiful area of auburn, hilly with lots of trees. I wouldn’t leave my pets anywhere else. I would chsnge my plans so my dog could stay there.

We have been boarding our 2 pointers at Auburn Kennels for 5-7 days at a time over the last several years and have never had a bad experience. The owners are incredibly responsible and easy to get ahold of. Our latest need involved a family emergency on Christmas day. They were willing to arrange a special drop off and accommodated our dogs with only a same day notice in an effort to help us out. So thankful for a place like this that we can rely on without worry.
Auburn Kennels is wonderful!! They treat our dogs so well!! They allow us to travel and know our dogs are being taken care of...
We have been boarding our dog Boomer (my 4th child) with Auburn Kennels since he was about 8 months old and I can honestly say that when he is boarded there, with the amazing, caring staff and other dogs I do not worry about his welfare for one moment! The space is large, they have pools in warmer weather for the dogs to play in, the runs and kennel area are clean and big enough for our 100 lb pup to romp and sleep comfortably. Boomer is excited to go and visit everyone and he is excited to come home and sleep for a day or so after his play date! We highly recommend Auburn Kennels, amazing people and all of the dogs that Boomer plays with are wonderful with him.

I know my dog is treated well and has plenty of room to play and a space to get away from others when needed.. The location is beautifully tucked into the Auburn hills. Heated kennels in the Winter, and swamp cooled int he Summer.
Wonderful place!!! Our dog had so much fun! You can tell the owners care about every animal that comes to their facility. They carefully consider personalities and take great care of them!!!
My dog likes staying here. I feel they are kind to animals. The issue I have and the reason we won't be coming back is that I travel frequently for work and my dates often change. They require a night deposit and you do not get that back should your travel plans change. I have offered a week in advance notice to cancel booking, but they insist on keeping my money. I have lost $200 or so and I'm just not willing to lose more money. We will be staying at All About Dogs in Penn Valley as they don't require a deposit.
I worked here as a teen. Years later when I needed to board my new puppy for 3 days I knew exactly where to go. Service was excellent. I even treated my girl to a spa day on her last day and couldn't be more satisfied. This is my go-to kennel for life.
My dogs have always been family members, so I've relied on trusted friends or relatives to care for them when I travel without them. Unusual circumstances led to putting our dog in a kennel for the first time. All indications are that Empire Kennels took excellent care of our beloved pooch.
Wonderful kennel...wonderful people. They have taken excellent care of my dogs and cats for 23 years now. I can't imagine leaving my dog any place else.
This was our pup's first time at a kennel but he LOVED it! Such nice staff who left me feeling very comfortable leaving our little guy there; he got a good mix of activity and looked almost disappointed when we picked him up. I'd definitely recommend Empire for your go-to dog/cat kennel.
Employees are super friendly. They Listened to my needs of my pets. Very informative. Kennels were clean and every animal seemed happy and well cared for. Day care was a great experience and cost friendly. They have over night care as well.
I have been using Empire Kennels for several years and they have been great! It is the only kennel that my dog has been happy to go to. Very friendly, great with the dogs, and reasonable rates. I highly recommend them. The other review appears to be a personal issue and bears no reflection on the business.
Clean facility, professional and very helpful staff. I love getting the video updates of my pup while I’m away! Only place in town I trust for overnight care aside from family. The grooming is great too :)
I have been a kennel tech my entire working life, after touring every kennel in the local vicinity this was the one and only that I feel comfortable with. Sure enough we had an amazing experience here, I highly recommend it for cats and dogs, wonderful staff, wonderful service, Happy pets!!!!!!!
This past year we boarded our dogs over 4th of July, incredible care. They’ve been unhappy in the past, this time came home happy and excited. Plan to be there for upcoming travel.

Someone said this place is first rate. I suggest you go there between 11pm and 2am. The dogs bark just about all night long, which indicate to me (a nearby neighbor) that something wrong is going on. I could see it if it happened occasionally, but almost every night is ridiculous. Those dogs are being neglected because she doesn't even try to quiet them down.
This is the exact kind of place I feel comfortable leaving my dog. I've brought my GSD here twice, both great experiences. We've tried the sitters that come and let your dog out at your house, but it's just not the same. Bring more dog food than you expect, the dogs play all day and eat way more. Just made reservations to use Camp Lisa for a 3rd time. Highly recommend and cool piece of property the dogs get to enjoy.
Camp Lisa cares about the safety of the dogs in their care. They wanted to meet us first. They checked immunization records and made sure our pup was a good fit for a group. While our dog is submissive, they wanted to make sure that the other dogs in the shared space were going to be respectful, which they were. The dogs have access to both indoor and out door space at all times. I love this place and will bring my dog back.
This was the first time we boarded our dog at Camp Lisa. This boarding facility is great. Our dog was very happy when we picked her up after her five day stay because she wasn't confined to a cage at all. She was able to play freely with other dogs and she really enjoyed it. Lisa takes very good care of the dogs and it is a very clean, safe environment. We will definitely be boarding our dog again at Camp Lisa.
Camp Lisa is the BEST and our young Golden loves it there. The facilities are clean, the staff friendly, and they all truly care about all of the dogs. There's both indoor and outdoor areas where dogs are well taken care of. The main indoor area is temperature controlled for both summer and winter. We've used them for day and overnight boarding and never worry about our dog being treated anything but wonderfully. This will be our dog's second home every time we are unable to take him with us!
We love how happy our dogs are when they return from Camp Lisa! The place is always clean, the staff are friendly, and the cage-free policy cannot be beat. The prices are very fair for what they offer. We have 3 dogs (2 big mixes, 1 small) and would highly recommend this place to anyone
I have taken my dog to Camp Lisa several times now. If you are wondering whether you should take your dog here, you definitely should! Camp Lisa is clean, peaceful, and you can tell that they really love the dogs that are here. Every time I pick up my boy he is so happy!!!!! What a wonderful place!
Camp Lisa is a wonderful place if you want your dog to be on vacation while you're on vacation! We happened to find Camp Lisa from a sign off of I-80 while driving to Reno. Cageless boarding! We were excited as we had recently lost our dog of 17 years and we're in the process of adopting a German Shepherd. We decided we wanted to find Cageless boarding for Sedona. Camp Lisa is a wonderful property set up for your dogs comfort. Large inside room where dogs are separated by size age and temperament. They freely run in and outside and play. Sedona gets great exercise there! I never have anxiety about dropping her off there. It's her vacation spot! We highly recommend Camp Lisa!
We have used Camp Lisa about a half dozen times over the last several years, and the dogs there are always happy and well-behaved. We wanted a place where our big dog wasn't confined to a small run, and Camp Lisa turned out to be a great fit. Lisa always takes good care of the dogs here, and when we pick ours up, has stories to tell about his stay.
My pups, Alfonso and Oillie love staying at the Best Friends Pet Hotel! They are so quiet on the way home. Exhausted from fun! They love the staff. Constantly running around them even as we are trying to leave! Haha They are so happy. I have them groomed after each stay, they smell wonderful!! Pictures from different pickups!! Another stay! My big boy Bengal, Dezi had a great time here. The facility was very nice and clean too. He got his own two room suite! The staff made him feel safe and loved and he wasn’t stressed when I picked him up. This was his first time away from home and I wasn’t sure how it would go. He will be coming back to visit again.
I have used Best Friends since 2002. All of my dogs have done great and I had a dog with some “issues” and she was handled well. There were never any problems after their visit at the “spa” as we referred to it. My two small dogs just returned from their spa visit and Max was on medication and he did great and our Gracie was happy too. Highly recommend!! 🐾🐾

We brought our Golden, Lola, here for the first time for a full grooming experience. She is terrified of loud noises--the girl who met us at check-in was extremely gentle with our dog, calming, and got her to settle down. We knew immediately that Lola was in good hands. They brought Lola out looking better than she ever has at any other grooming appointment--complete with a fresh bandana and bow. We loved our experience here!
First time with Best Friends over the Christmas holiday. She was pretty excited to go with the staff and seemed great when we picked up. We had a long delay on our return train ride and the staff was very understanding. I felt very comfortable with her accommodations and would definitely use them again next time we travel.
Best Friends pet boarding, daycare in Carmichael. The staff here is awesom! My Pebbles and BamBam really enjoy their overnight stays! They get lots of attention, treats and best of all have piece of mind knowing the loving care they are getting! Highly recommend boarding and Doggy day camp!
