Josie was the best and super considerate. She asked how often I’d like updates and she left the guest bedroom clean with fresh sheets! I had zero worries about my fur babies and my house. She was super flexible, came in the night before so we could show her around and introduce her to the pets. She offered to stay an extra day just in case we had any issues with our flights, to which we said it was okay, she could leave on the right day. The house was in perfect conditions when we came back, maybe even better than when we left. All the animals looked happy and healthy! If we could have Josie back every time, we would! 100% recommend!
Matthias and Jennifer are a special couple who looked after our pup Alan over Christmas and New Year and we could not be happier with the excellent care they gave him and how wonderfully they treated our home. We knew very early on from speaking with them they would be a great match for us and Alan as they are excellent at communication and have an obvious love of animals. We got to spend a pleasant evening getting to know them and share travel stories over dinner and wine before introducing them to Alan. They were thoughtful enough to bring him some treats and instantly won him over. Alan was cuddled into them both on the sofa for the rest of the evening receiving lots of affection and attention. So we left the following morning knowing that Alan would be more than content and our home would be treated with lots of care. Jennifer and Matthias were very self-sufficient and we could go away on our break knowing without any worry. They regularly updated us with how Alan was doing, took photographs of their days out with him and he looked to be having more fun than he does with us. When we returned Alan looked very disappointed to see us coming through the door rather than Jennifer and Matthias, so that shows just how well looked after he was. The house was absolutely sparkling! Every corner had been cleaned to a high standard which is very very appreciated after a long journey home. There was even a truly sweet bunch of flowers with a kind thank you note waiting for us in the kitchen which was such a lovely touch. They both clearly love animals and are a delightful couple that fall into FIRST CLASS category standard of house sitting. We will 100% be sure to ask them of their availability the next time we go away, and hope they keep in touch.
