Cat Sitters in Sefton

Mandy and Steve have been amazing housesitters! From our first video call back in April and right throughout our holiday, communication has been outstandingly good. One of our cats had emergency dental surgery just a few days before we left for holiday; this was very stressful as he had to be given 2 different medications and had to be kept inside. Mandy and Steve took this in their stride and were completely unflustered by the situation, giving us the confidence to leave our cats in their care and enjoy our holiday. Mandy kept us updated with photos and videos whilst we were away; again this put our minds at rest and we were able to relax. On our return, the house was spotless and the garden had been given a Steve makeover - not a weed in sight! They had even cut the lawn. Our cats are happy and relaxed. We couldn’t have wished for better or nicer sitters and very much hope Mandy and Steve will come and housesit for us again in future. Without hesitation, we recommend Mandy and Steve as fantastic housesitters. You will be very fortunate if they are able to sit for you.

Vince and Sam have already sat for us and again they were brilliant with caring for our pets and home.. We returned to a spotless house, laundered house We felt again that Vince and Sam took such good care of our animals and property, with the peace of mind we were able to enjoy our time away. happy travels to you both and hope to see you again.

I was Anna's first housesit and she was terrific, and Maisie loved her. Super kind and considerate, she kept me updated on Maisie throughout my time away and I can tell that Maisie was very happy with her. The house was lovely and tidy on my return, and she had even made some lovely home made tasty treats! She has promised to return, and I can't wait!

Daisy is a dream sitter. Her communication before the sit was great. She popped round a few days before to meet us, and the cats. We had mo worries atball whilst we were away about the cats. She sent updates a few times and some pics. House was lovely and tidy when we got back. We really hope to have Daisy back to sit for us in the future.

Paula agreed to a sit last minute as our previous sitter cancelled. She looked after our girls really well, providing updates whilst we were on holiday. She left milk and bread for our return and fresh flowers which was very thoughtful and appreciated. The house was left so clean and tidy. Would highly recommend. Thanks Paula

Rachel was great looking after Sully. There were no problems at all and Sully was very happy when we got home!

It was lovely to welcome Stephen and Joan for another housesit, such peace of mind knowing that Barney would be well cared for. It is very reassuring to go away knowing everything will be in good order and well taken care of and I’d return to a very happy dog. I do hope Stephen and Joan will want to explore more of this area and sit for me again, I know Barney would be happy to see them and judging by the number of neighbours who have asked after them they’ve made many friends locally who’d welcome them back.

Natalie was a great sitter. She communicated well with us often and seemed very capable and organised. We returned home to a clean and tidy house and very happy dogs, cat and chickens! Thank you Natalie.

Lucy and Russell were a pleasure to deal with from the beginning. They were very flexible with their time and happy to work around our schedule which was a huge help! Our little puppy Ruby (6 month old rescue) had never been left with sitters before so Lucy and Russ were the first to trial her and we could not have been happier! Although Ruby took some time to warm, she was comfortable within the first few hours of us leaving as Lucy sent us pictures of them on the couch with her snuggled up!

Tim and Sue could not have been nicer. Our dog took to them immediately and we would certainly be delighted to have them back in the future. I have no doubt that future pet owners will have the same view.

We actually didn't get to meet Alina + Camilo in person, but they left our house really tidy and Tasha our cat seemed very happy! Communication was great and we'd definitely recommend them both!

We are so lucky to have had Michelle as our cat-sitter. Our older cat, Gluino, got unexpectedly ill during her stay. Michelle recognised the signs and immediately called the vet to check on what should be done. Then, she rushed him to the clinic. His condition was very serious. Once stabilised, she took him home and monitored him the entire weekend. Gluino had high fever, his breathing was abnormally fast and refused to eat. Michelle went out of her way to find foods that might entice him to not starve himself. She bought chicken, tuna, tried treats and his favourite wet-food. She made sure to administer medicine, measure his breathing, stay in touch with the vet and make an appointment for Monday at another clinic (where it was planned for him to undergo more detailed tests). All this while keeping us updated about his wellbeing and taking care of our younger cat Nacho. She had to juggle the needs of a seriously ill cat and a young, active cat and was extremely resourceful in doing this. We were abroad and could only fly back on Sunday. Although in shock and extremely anxious, we had the peace of mind that Gluino is in great hands. Michelle stayed at Gluino's side up until the moment we arrived as she didn't want to leave him unsupervised. Besides being very skilled at taking care of cats, Michelle is a reliable, loving, caring and sweet person. We didn't have the pleasure to meet her partner Fran, but there is no doubt for us that he is no less of a wonderful human being. He helped her a lot in caring for Gluino during this very difficult time (Fran is allergic to cats and stayed at a rental place in Amsterdam. Still, he came over to the house to help Michelle care for our two cats). After returning home, Michelle would keep in touch to inquire about Gluino. She regularly asked for updates and sent words of encouragement. This meant a lot to us! Thank you for everything, Michelle!
