Lena and Doug were brilliant. My dog had separation anxiety after they left, they gave her such attention and love. I can't recommend this couple enough. I hope to use them again in the future if they are available. Sweet, kind, smart, and interesting. I like them as friends now and hope to see them socially in the months to come.
My only complaint about this sit is that it was too short. Amy was wonderful communicating with us before and during the sit. Their home was lovely and comfortable. But the best part of the sit was Manny and Nacho. They were easy to care for and easier to fall in love with. Manny is a snuggle bug who just wants a lap to sit on. And when he turns and looks at you with those sweet eyes...heart melting. Nacho was curious but hesitant at first. She began to warm up to us and I suspect on a longer sit she would become your buddy too. If you have an opportunity to sit for Amy and Bryan and get to know Manny and Nacho, I highly recommend it.
We had the most wonderful stay at Tim and Jane's house. The house is set in a beautiful location, so peaceful and quiet (a car is essential to get anywhere). We enjoyed watching the sunset in the garden every evening. The dogs - Fig and Sirius, were the most adorable big bundles of love. Fig loves to play and will always greet you with a toy. Sirius loves cuddles and gives lots of kisses. They were super easy and lovely to walk, their usual walking route is quiet so there's not many other dogs/people to worry about. Although, they were great with people and dogs anyway when we did encounter them. The cat - Dexter, was more independent as cats are, but he did enjoy the occasional snuggle on our laps. Tim and Jane have been helpful throughout and we enjoyed getting to know them a bit over dinner on our first night. Would be happily sit for them again, a great introduction into our first official house sit!
I had a fantastic time housesitting for Desmond & Jingle in Alison's place! They're both so sweet and easy to care for. Alison was also great to communicate with and left clear instructions. Her home in Lower Haight is close to many shops, restaurants, and the Panhandle Park/Golden Gate (so nice to run/bike through). :) I would happily housesit here again - thanks Alison!
This was a great stay in a beautiful and quiet house that offers every conceivable amenity. The gated complex ensures total security. Brook and Brett left detailed welcome instructions on all the essentials. On the few occasions when additional information was needed, communication via WhatsApp was quick and super easy. Tini and Basta, the cats, were easy to look after and a real joy. We got on well straight away. Tini, a real cuddly cat, was constantly affectionate and sweet. Basta, a bundle of energy, kept us on our toes (especially at feeding time!), but eventually let us cuddle with her too. We really enjoyed our time with Tini and Basta and highly recommend this home!
Chacha or (snowball that’s how we called her ahah) is the best cat! It was our first sit we this website and the experience was amazing. Chacha is lovely and calm, she’s really comunicative of her needs and if you are sitting on the couch she would simply come and cuddle with you. Dion and her had the best time especially while he was working she was there giving him cuddles and free massages 🥰. If you makes friends with her she would sleep with you as well! Souhella was amazing she answered any question you would have from the beginning. The apartment is clean and comfy and has everything that you need. Right next to the apartment you have almost every train line. The neighborhood is amazing and in 5 mins walk you arrive to the terrace where you can see the Manhattan skyline and the Brooklyn bridge. We hope we gonna have the chance to sit Chacha again we both fell in love with her! Thank you Souhella and thank you Chacha 💕
Natasha and Kieran’s place was lovely! They were so friendly and very responsive to any questions I had. Their place is a few minute walk from the train station so really handy to get to Belfast and beyond. The house was lovely and cosy and had everything you need for a relaxing stay in Northern Ireland. The cats are an absolute pleasure to look after and are such wee characters. Would happily come and housesit here again.
