I stayed the night with Michelle before she left - what a lovely person! It was nice to chat and become familiar with the surroundings. Blue and Winston are loveliest dogs. I discovered Blue loves watching TV, and that Winston is fond of belly rubs. It was peaceful to spend the early mornings on the porch reading, drinking coffee, and watching the dogs play. A beautiful location also close to KY. Thankful
Melanies cat Missifoo is adorable and hilarious. He will go on walks with you down to the beach and keep you company. The house was lovely, very spacious and had everything you needed. The sauna was perfect in the cold weather. Melanie always replied quickly even though we were in opposite time zones and she even checked in on me when the weather got even colder. Thanks for a great cat sit!

What a treat to look after Georgie in her senior years. She’s a sweet, calm, quiet and funny little pooch! Given her age, she tends to sleep a lot especially falling into a food coma directly after every meal! But when she’s awake, she’s happy to let herself out into the garden and have a mooch around. She happily followed me around the house too and certainly let me know when she was hungry! Be prepared to be seduced by her stretching and two step dance routine when it’s feeding time. It’s the sweetest performance :) She doesn’t move very fast and her daily walk is more of a leisurely amble, but once started, she keeps on going.! She’s well behaved and very calm around other dogs. The only time I heard her bark was at her ‘mortal enemy’ the vacuum! She does have tummy troubles and can cough up her food now and again. But other than that, we can’t wait to sit for her again. David is very friendly, easy going and fascinating with fun stories to share of his life adventures and warmly welcomed us into his home. He invited us to stay the evening before to get familiar with Georgie’s routine. We dined outdoors in his private, sunny patio and ate fish and chips from the local chip shop! Everything was well communicated , prepared and organised with a comprehensive list of details and information left behind making for an easy handover. He was very responsive to any queries we had and kept in touch while away. We had a very enjoyable stay at David’s in Grange-Over-Sands with the coast literally on the doorstep. We highly recommend David and Georgie to sit for and feel very lucky to have met them.
I had a nice relaxing time looking after Jasmine. A very gentle and easy to care for cat. Communication with Anne was excellent and they made me feel very welcome. A lovely house too.
Have just returned from our sit in Whitby. Our hosts Carl and Safiya were easy to communicate with before and during our visit. The house has all mod cons, very clean and even a cinema room for film buffs. Situated less than 3 or 4 mins drive from the sea front was a marvellous bonus and very easy to walk down into town as well. Our charge, Waffles is a lovely cat, extremely friendly and loves a lap to sit on. If you sit down, she is there too. It was a pleasure not to be ignored for the week, which is often the case. Would certainly recommend this location for anyone wanting to explore this beautiful area.
