Great sit! The house has everything you need to be comfortable. The town is just relaxing with loads of birds and a nice walk along the bay. Also a good starting point for a few day trips. Sharon and Brett were friendly and communicated well before and during our stay. Eddie was a bit shy initially but became friendly over the days. Freddie was fun, full of energy and love. He loves playing with his ball, walking and fishing/jumping in the water. It was also fun to see them playing together. Highly recommended house, humans and pets 🙂
This is a 6 star sit+! Marilyn was very helpful with pre sit information and we received a very warm welcome on arrival. Harry is a lovely cat, a good communicator and liked cuddles and to stay close in the evenings. Otherwise he was mostly out patrolling the estate! The ducks are easy to feed and very amusing. Marilyn's home is beautiful. We had a very comfortable ensuite bedroom with cupboard and drawer space and a lovely view over the extensive garden. The kitchen is well equipped and Marilyn had very kindly left us several meals in the freezer as well as cooking a delicious supper that we ate with them on our first night. The house has a wonderful heated indoor pool which we enjoyed using. A number of locals come in at prearranged times to use the pool but this is easily managed. There are any number of good walks locally and some great coffee shops in Harleston, just up road. Lots to see and do in the wider area in both Norfolk and Suffolk. If you get the opportunity to do this sit, don't hesitate!
Thank you Suzanne and Steve for welcoming Bob and I into your home and trusting us with your furs. Albus and I enjoyed my golf sessions down the hill and our daily walks (he is so good); Clair is so sweet and a little cuddle bug, she may be small but she knows the house routine and wasn’t shy to let us know 💖; and the energetic Mother of the house siblings is Edie. Each of them has their own personality and each of them are absolutely adorable. Suzanne and Steve’s house is beyond lovely. Bob and I have made new friendships. And our gratitude to care for these precious furs goes beyond words.
We thoroughly enjoyed our house and pet sit for Steven and Teri. We arrived the evening before to a clean and comfortable home with a killer view as per their request to familiarize ourselves with our duties and to let the pets recognize and warm up to us. It is very apparent how much they care and adore Max and Luis. After being around them we could understand why. They are wonderful cats and very loving with unique personalities. Max was more to himself but would show once in awhile and assert himself, while Luis loved more individual attention. He loved to be stroked and brushed and was quite accommodating toward applying medicine for a small sore he received prior to our arrival , most likely from playing with Max. The instructions and checklist were well thought out. The area was great for visit(s) to local wineries and a big plus was the Burke Gilman trail just a short distance from the house. Spending time with Huck, Nubbs, and Gidget was so much fun! They are all very sweet, loving, and engaging with lots of personality! They’ll keep you entertained and greet you excitedly at the door when you come home. Huck and Nubbs love their walks and snuggling on the couch. They also enjoy lounging on the deck and playing in the backyard. They are well behaved and easy to take care of! The kitty will curl up in your lap for pets and she is the sweetest most loving kitty. Stephanie was very responsive to text messages and easy to reach. Their home is cozy and a mile away from the adorable downtown Littleton with cute boutiques, restaurants and coffee shops. They are centrally located in Littleton and an easy to walk to Main Street. You can catch the light rail that takes you directly to Denver and it is a great area all around with bike trails and easy access to hiking. I had a wonderful stay with Huck, Nubbs, and Gidget and will miss them tremendously!
Our time with Walter was delightful! At first, he was a bit shy, but as soon as the treats appeared, he started warming up. Though still sassy, wherever we went, he tagged along, which was really cute. It was also adorable to see his little sweet face peeping out from the closet every morning, his favourite sleeping spot—something that never failed to bring a smile to our faces. But what really made our cat-sitting experience unforgettable was Ben and Elisabeth's hospitality. They went out of their way to make us feel at home, treating us to snacks and giving us full access to their impressive cheese collection in the fridge. Their kindness and warmth really made a difference. This alone made us feel right at home. Plus, they provided us with a thorough guide that had everything we needed to know, ensuring our stay was smooth sailing. And whenever we had any questions, Ben and Elisabeth were super responsive and helpful. Their home was impeccably clean and organized, which we really appreciated. A tidy space is important to us, and they definitely nailed it with how well-maintained everything was. Oh, and can you believe they even went out of their way and set up our own Netflix account? That was such a thoughtful gesture!! Overall, our experience cat-sitting Walter at Ben and Elisabeth's home was a great experience. We really enjoyed both the companionship of Walter, and the virtual-companionship of Ben and Elisabeth. 🙌🏼👏🏼
