I have to confess to not having met Lucinda ,but Leon turned up for a briefing before we left and was most pleasant and accommodating. He turned out to be a Siamese cat fan and very soon made friends with Poppy. He left the plants looking good and kindly stripped the bed and washed his sheets. I believe Lucinda came a day later.
Patricia was an incredible sitter! She was just wonderful with our dog, and took such good care of our home while we were away -- everything was spotless when we got home. She is also a great communicator: responsive and reliable. We are so grateful we found her.
Vacation should be a time for relaxation, not a time to worry about whether our house and dog are in good hands. Melissa and Chris set our minds at ease from the first communication, where they wrote a detailed account of their vast experience and their desire to give the best care possible during their stay in Chattanooga. We are really particular about our dog, who can be nervous and shy around strangers, but Melissa and Chris agreed to spend a night with us (and our dog Hilde) before we left so we could make sure Hilde was comfortable with her new people. Their willingness to accommodate us – including staying an extra night since we arrived home so late – was beyond what we expected. Even better, the house was spotless when we arrived home! Melissa and Chris are a delightful couple: personable, funny, intelligent, and communicative. They clearly showed our dog great care – including daily walks, treats, and ample play time – and the payoff was evident. When Hilde saw them the next morning, she ran to them with the wagging behind normally reserved for those she loves the most. Our dog’s affection towards Melissa and Chris was the greatest recommendation of all! We all hope to see them again in the future!
Jean's home provided a cozy, relaxing, and private escape. Exploring the area was a pleasure as the backdrop of the Rockies made for beautiful scenery. During our stay we met one of her neighbors who seemed friendly and also his dog Stanley who also seemed very friendly. However, the star of the show is her cat Boz. Boz is a cuddly sweetheart. My favorite memory is the first night that Boz would follow me around the kitchen after she was fed. The first two nights she would eat and then walk away. By the third night she was nuzzling me and following me around the house after she was fed. Jean was very responsive and answered any questions we had during our stay. Zachary and I both agree, we would highly recommend a sit at Jean's house as it was a pleasurable experience with a friendly and sweet cat. We would watch Boz again anytime if needed :)
