We were able to see Kolby interact with our dog, Buddha, before he even saw us. The way he calmly introduced himself and focused on connecting with Buddha assured us from the start that he would be a great caretaker. And that's what indeed happened. The Buddha we left was the same Buddha we returned to - with no stress - just happiness and a wagging tail. Fate threw us a curve when Buddha developed a short case of diarrhea right before we left, but Kolby followed our new instructions perfectly and everything turned out fine. When we were unclear he texted us for clarification before proceeding. As air travel these days is so uncertain, Kolby was fine with making sure we were home before leaving our dog. He constantly set us pictures of Buddha and maintained great communication. The home we returned to was cleaned thoroughly. We would certainly hope to use him again (Buddha too!), and offer a solid recommendation of his services to anyone !
This was another great sit! I can’t say enough good things about Rosa! Sweet, adorable, playful and oh so pretty! The house was very comfortable, quiet, good internet. 3 decks to choose from for sitting and relaxing. Several little trails that Rosa took me on the tour of😊. Ann was very communicative and had everything listed out about the place and Rosa. Would definitely recommend this house/pet sit!
My stay with Walter could not have been any better, he’s such a sweet lovable and gentle giant. Very easy and fun to care for, and made exploring the Gracia neighborhood all the better. It’s a beautiful apartment that has everything you need in one of the best neighborhoods of Barcelona. Pam and Nick are both lovely humans that offered very clear instructions for Walter and their home, as well as plenty of nice recommendations. They were always available to communicate with and made the whole stay very comfortable and easy. Thank you for everything! Hope to be back soon :)
An idyllic sit with an easygoing cat. Loki is a friendly and playful cat, who loved spending most of his day outside. At night, he would join me for a movie, sitting in a beanie chair. Eve and Phil's lovely house is spacious, with a lovely garden in the edge of a picturesque, historic town of Jelling, which is easily reached via train. Being a small town, the center is reached in about 15 minutes on foot, where you can find the wonderful free museum, explaining the history of Jelling and the Unesco Jelling Stones. A great town for peace, walks, and cycling. It's so safe, didn't have to lock the bike when going to the supermarket. And people are friendly. It was a perfect sit to enjoy a peaceful, relaxing time, after traveling from Berlin.
We had an amazing time staying at Gayle's and looking after Billy & Peggy. Gayle provided lots of helpful information about the dogs and house prior to our arrival - helping us to feel confident that we could take good care of them and understood their needs. The day we arrived, Gayle's daughter Laura and friend Tay greeted us and cooked a delicious meal - it was lovely spending the evening with them and they gave us another run through of everything in person. The house is extremely comfortable and well equipped. We loved waking up surrounded by trees, birds and kangaroos. It was a very relaxing few days. Peggy and Billy were very easy to look after and we enjoyed their company. Peggy is a very affectionate dog who loved playing tug of war with us. Billy is also very sweet and likes to be near you but needs his boundaries respected to feel comfortable, which was absolutely fine with us. Gayle was extremely kind and generous, providing lots of unexpected extra touches which we really appreciated, such as providing warm clothing for walks! We feel very lucky to have been able to do this sit and spend time with these dogs in their beautiful home.
I had a wonderful time house-sitting for Gwynn and her adorable animals. They’re all fairly low maintenance, and just require regular walking and feeding, but always appreciated an extra love and attention. I enjoyed all three of them. Their house is beautiful, and very comfortable, and is very well located. The neighborhood is lovely, and is close enough to many sights of interest, as well as a very short walk to the Bosque. I would happily do it again and can highly recommend it to others as well!
We had a truly wonderful time at Caroline and Carey’s home. Caroline and Carey were really clear and great communicators from the outset. We had the pleasure of meeting them before they left and we had a comprehensive run through of the house and animals. They had kindly left us homemade apple juice and toys for the kids. Robbie (dog) is a gentle soul who loves all the best things, long walks in the beautiful surrounds, and a tickle under his arm in the evening. Dave and Bagel (cats) are mostly independent and came as they pleased. We managed a couple of cuddles by the end of our stay. The house is even better than the photos. The views and feel of the place is really special. We had lots of great walks from the house to Somerton or Charlton Mackerell. The area has plenty to see, national trust properties, Glastonbury tor and the air museum were our top picks. We would recommend to anyone lucky enough to go.

Adriana provides excellent, kind service! One of our cats is very shy, and she was very patient with him. She also did some extra things to care for our home because of a storm, and it was good to be able to relax and enjoy our trip knowing that our cats and home were well cared-for.
I left my two cat children for a week with Adriana and team, to stay at the Pet Valley establishment. Throughout the process, they were very professional with the questionnaire and paying attention to their needs. Adriana sent me pictures and videos daily to update me of their well-being. They had a nice environment and were kept active with games and play. Sammie also did some tricks like high fiving with Adriana. Upon arrival, everything was cleaned, packed and arranged very well. They even had little presents for the two cats, so sweet. If you need to leave your pets in very good hands, I highly recommend Pet Valley. Adriana and her mother took care of our cats, Oliver and Keiki, while we took a short trip. They did a great job — feeding, playing, and cuddling with them, as well as giving Keiki his daily medication. Our boys were in good hands! We recommend Pet Care Valley and would hire them again.

If your dog needs training, I highly recommend Rui from Pet Nanny Paradise Eco Resort near Caldas da Rainha. Rui takes the time to understand each dog's individual needs. Then he teaches the human caregivers how to best help the dog. Rui's accessible and provides excellent feedback and tips. After just 2 sessions, I can see tremendous progress with my two rescue dogs. I also attended Rui's group dog training classes. There the focus was on socializing your dog so that walks are a pleasure and not a chore. I saw Rui helping all types of dogs...from big reactive types to timid dogs that need confidence building.
My dog has had such a wonderful time with Joana and Rui and the team. She comes home well cared for, happy and tired from all the fun, I suspect given a choice she'd like to stay longer!
Rui is kind, gentle, respectful of amimals & their owners. An excellent trainer. After 3 sessions our alpha female dog is more settled and calm in the presence of other dogs.
