We absolutely loved our stay looking after Harley and Dennis. Harley in particular was very loving and would follow us around the house and roll on her back for belly rubs and stokes. Dennis is a lovely chilled cat and they enjoyed playing together. The house is beautiful and as pictured and a short walk from the beach which we did most days with Harley for beautiful sunsets. Mandy and Mick were welcoming and had good communication about the stay.
I had wonderful time with Vitorio and Cheetara. They are lovely, both on their own way. Cheetara was first very shy and cautious, but already on day two, she warmed up and followed me most of the time when I was inside. Either meowing for food or cuddles. Cuddles needs to happen on her own timing. Usually she came next me when I was on sofa or when went to bed. Vitorio was friendly on first second. He climbs on, purrs on lap - and loves to play. We spend many moments having fun by just throwing a small ball I made from piece of paper. The appartement is very cozy in quiet area, still with easy acces to the center of Utrecht. Unfortunately, I didnt meet Louise and Igor in person. All communication via whatsapp was very smooth with them. I highly recommend this sit, and would myself be happy to come back, if opportunity arrives. Thank you for trusting me!
Sawyer is a sweet old dog who is happy when you are around. He just likes to be outside in the garden. The house is a really nice place to stay. Comfortable guestroom with private bathroom. Beautiful surrounding for hikes. Easy communication with Sawyers parenta.
It was a very fun time taking care of this adorable 4 cats! Aleksandra was an amazing host. She was always very attentive and very kind. The apartment has all you need to feel comfortable in your stay. There were no major issues with the cats, they behave very good and we have a very nice time cuddling with them. Aleksandra left all we needed to take care of them. Thanks for everything !!
Steve and Ann’s home/pet sit was very relaxed and lovely. Romeo is a spooner, lover, and absolutely adorable! The home is equipped with all the cooking, cleaning, and comforts that make the home “homey”. There is a fully fenced backyard that makes quick bathroom breaks easy. There are multiple parks within walking distance and the street traffic is pretty quiet during the day. Romeo does have personality, and you may need to coax him to get his harness on, to go on walks. I recommend putting your fingers under the buckle before snapping it; he might be a little scared the clip will pinch his skin/fur. Once out and about, he is a great walking companion and only needs gentle slowing once in awhile to stay in pace with your own. We walked by many dogs and as long as you’re not a reactive person, he will mind his business and keep enjoying the walk without protest. Romeo is a gem. He likes to wash his face with his front paws in the morning, and he loves his big stretches when he shakes himself out of his naps. I would highly recommend Steve and Ann’s for future home sitters, they are a kind and insightful couple who genuinely love their fur baby 😊
