Beautiful Victorian House located high on a hill with magnificent views. Tia was an amazing dog. She was so affectionate and cuddly loved her walks but tired towards the end - She was really well-behaved in cafes and walking among other dogs along the beach front. She loved lounging around on the couches and got herself in some funny positions. Chris and family were very informative and friendly and told us the local places to visit. All round very easy sit.
Nanette and Bob have a beautiful and unique home. It feels like you are miles away from the hustle and bustle, but it's just minutes away from downtown Tucson. Sitting on the back porch is lovely and the pool is a plus. There's no question that you will be comfortable and close to lots of things to do. The cats are exceptionally sweet and loving. Nanette left detailed instructions, but was happy to walk me through a problem I had with the alarm.
We really enjoyed this housesit. Never looked after a castle before. A fantastic experience. The dogs Jones and Louis are very energetic, very sweet and quick at ease. Strolling the estate with them was great fun. And the area is great to explore. Thank you Didier and Rozemie for this opportunity. We would love to come back again.
Sherene was a wonderful host. Her house was super neat and clean and Mr Fig was a sweet cat to sit for. We had a great time playing together and taking walks outside. Sherene left a clearly written booklet describing Mr Figs needs and all the details about the house that we would need. She checked in a couple times while away to make sure all was well. This was a wonderful sit. Sherene even had us over to dinner the night before so we could get to know each other better and become familiar with Mr Fig. I would not hesitate to sit here again!
Robb and Shelby are gracious and easygoing hosts. I was able to come by the night before the sit and enjoyed getting to know them and their lovely Luna. Luna had a bit of separation anxiety the first day but by that evening we were best buds: She stayed close by my side throughout the sit yet was uncomplaining when I needed to go out for a few hours. Luna, Robb, and Shelby share a large lovely home 1/2 block from the best dog park in the city, making it easy and enjoyable to take Luna out for her walks. She's an older gal but can still play like a puppy, especially during "happy hour" at the park when her doggie friends turn up! Overall a wonderful sit which I am happy to repeat whenever our schedules align.
