Lynda
David took great care of our pets and our home. He sent pictures while we were gone, and everything was clean and as we left it when we arrived home. We recommend him for your housesit!

John
John was a very nice host. Communication was very open and accommodating. John prepared the house to make us feel comfortable. We could use all the equipment in the house. We really appreciated the detailed manual, including information about the surroundings of the Agres.
Alfie is a very kind and well-behaved dogie who loves movement. He has a nice relationship with children. The house has a beautiful view of the valley and the surrounding hills. The nature around Agres is very nice, there are many hiking trails. Agres is a peaceful village, everyone was very friendly to us. We are very happy to met with John and Alfie and to spent a wonderful time in the Agres and surroundings. Thank you John, Alfie and Agres.

Michelle and Michael
Michelle and Michael were very generous hosts ensuring we had everything we needed for a comfortable stay and left us some delicious provisions for delicious meals.

Their character thatched home was spacious and very comfortable and equipped with everything we needed for a relaxing stay and plenty of detailed instructions which were easy to follow. The vegetable garden was thriving and we were able to pick our own veggies, which was fabulous thank you.

Indoor cats, Rolo and Jasper were adorable, very sweet natured and no trouble at all to look after. Jasper especially enjoyed our company in the evenings and Rolo, whilst a little more independent was still very loving and has the loudest purr I have ever heard! Meg the Welsh mountain pony was too cute for words. She followed us around her paddock when we poo-picked and cleaned the stable yard and was always seeking out a carrot as a special treat. She does love a roll in the dirt, bless her, but was easy to look after.

Other activities included watering the potted plants and greenhouse and we also mowed the lawns as everything has been growing like mad this month, but all was easy to stay on top of and we didn’t mind pottering in such a lovely garden.

We enjoyed some stunning local walking across Pewsey Vale and along the Kennet and Avon canal. We were fortunate enough to be here at the peak of wildflower season so there were also butterflies and bees everywhere.
The local villages have great pubs in this area and HoneyStreet Mill Café was a highlight.

Thank you Michelle and Michael for a wonderful stay - highly recommended

Ellie
I loved this sit! Ellie and Michael were lovely and took me on a full video tour before the sit so I knew where everything was. Their home was absolutely beautiful and so comfortable.
Pan and Seffy were the sweetest cats, very playful and affectionate, always on my lap (mainly Pan because Seffy wasn’t allowed apparently 😂) Pans medication was super easy to give to him, he just laps it up. Wi-Fi was great for working from home and the projector in the lounge was amazing at night. Thank you and I hope I get a chance to help again in the future! ❤️

Pollyanna
What a lovely family! Pollyanna put me totally at ease from the first time I spoke to her on the phone and provided us with a lovely cheery welcome on our arrival. She and Chris were very welcoming hosts and their daughters were delightful and very easy to talk to – they even made us a delicious meal the night before they were leaving!
As for Truffle and Bounty, what can I say… they were both adorable, very well-behaved dogs and very easy to care for and fall in love with! Truffle is an absolute lady; with the most graceful walk and serenest expression I have ever seen. She can also be delightfully dizzy and race around like a puppy when the mood takes her! Bounty has boundless energy on walks and must be the fastest dog I’ve ever encountered, keeping us in stitches as she sprang through the long grass like a mountain goat. She was very affectionate and happy to chill out with us in the evenings. Both dogs were the highlight of our stay and made our week absolutely perfect.
Not to mention the beautiful house with picture-perfect views, complete with tennis courts and trampoline that were well used by our family. There was even a cabinet full of games which kept us amused.
We loved the area, and went into Market Harborough town on several occasions, where there is a good selection of supermarkets. There are plentiful walks, including ones straight from the door if you prefer. We also had enjoyed a personal 2 hour guided tour courtesy of the Naseby Battlefield Project which was very educational and interesting, and would definitely recommend a visit to Foxton Locks which was so pretty and has several places to eat looking out over the canal.
Thank you Pollyanna, Christopher, Zellie, Camilla, Truffle and Bounty for welcoming us into your lovely home! We hope to see you all again one day :)

Lori
This was a great sit. Frankie is so sweet and super affectionate. He loves walks and cuddles. I also really enjoyed Lori’s comfortable home, beautiful gardens, gazebo and hot tub. Walks around the neighbourhood and to the shared beach area were really pleasant. It’s not far from Bobcaygeon for groceries and necessities. If you’re looking for a peaceful and quiet sit, this is ideal!
