I would highly recommend this sit! Firstly, Bettina and Jim are extremely kind and interesting people who I was grateful to spend some time with before and after their trip. As for Austin and Harley, I don't even know where to begin! They are pure joy. Harley is so sweet, go-with-the-flow, and loves to just chill next to you, whatever you're doing. Austin is full of energy and love, and will happily take every opportunity for hugs!!! I am truly in love with both dogs and enjoyed having that love returned throughout the duration of my stay. I still miss them! Additionally, the home is beautiful and kept very clean, assuring a comfortable stay. I truly can't say enough about this sit and am so grateful for the experience. If you get the chance, take it!
It was such a pleasure to house sit for Zara and Chris. Zara and Chris were so responsive with their communication whenever we had any questions and so genuine and very friendly. Their house was very comfortable with all the mod cons. Buddie, Indie and Millie were well behaved dogs and easy to manage. The house was within easy walking distance to fabulous cafes, shopping strip, great beach and relaxed Botanic Gardens. Such a wonderful location and family that we would love to house sit again.

I was thrilled to get this housesit in Vens, and have the opportunity to care for the beautiful Igloo. Gemma and Sam have a gorgeous chalet in a stunning part of Switzerland that offers endless opportunity for adventure with Igloo. Gemma was incredibly kind in offering great travel advice ahead of my stay and when I arrived, went out of her way to make me feel totally comfortable in their home. She gave me lots of great tips for fun adventures with Igloo and introduced me to some of their beautiful friends before they left for their trip. I fell totally in love with Igloo and the area and enjoyed eight incredible days exploring the mountains with him. Igloo is a gorgeous, active boy, with boundless energy while out on the trail, but who loves to cuddle up at home after a day of adventure. If the opportunity arose again, I would love to look after Igloo for Gemma and Sam again.
This was our first sit near Charleston, SC. As it was over Christmas, we asked Sarah and Peter if we could have our family stay. They graciously agreed to our request . Sarah and Peter are great hosts! They are transplanted Brits, and we shared many common experiences with them. Their lovely home is large and very comfortable with great views over the golf course and to the river in the distance. Sunsets were spectacular. The swimming pool/hot tub would be fantastic in more balmy weather. We spent an hour going over their Welcome Guide and discussing the important details before they left on their vacation. Bubbles and Bailey are lovely, affectionate dogs. We miss them already! They are not on any medications, love to walk around the golf course community, and most significantly love to cuddle with you. Bailey is afraid of heavy rain. We allowed him to sleep in our bed one night during a heavy rain storm and “he got our number.” From then on, he spent the night with us. We highly recommend this sit and would be happy to return!
