Ron recently sat for a last minute work trip. He was wonderful. He was flexible, kind, and very communicative. Most importantly, he was great with my anxious pup. I would absolutely recommend Ron!

We were recently in a skype interview to lock down a sit and the home/pet owners asked us "what was your favorite sit?". We hadn't been asked about that before. It's a tough question. What are the main criteria? For us there are 3: the pet(s), the home and the location. For these reasons, the sit we did for Arne and Jan was one of, if not, the best sits we have done. Chobe is the sweetest, cutest dog ever. The home is not "luxurious" but we liked it just fine. The location is wonderful - peaceful and somewhat secluded yet easy to get to a grocery store or restaurant and only 15-20min to the "big" city. In addition, we really liked Arne and Jan. Often, you don't really get to meet the home/pet owners. We got to share 2 dinners with Arne and Jan and enjoyed their company very much. Depending what time of year you are there, they have a very nice vegetable garden that you can harvest and enjoy. We would do another sit for them without thinking twice. If you get a chance to do a sit here - DO IT!

We had a lovely stay at Bridgets house with a warm welcome. The dogs Ted and Wafle are very nice and friendly. They love to go out and like a nice touch. The house is seperate from other houses and we ley the pets out with flashlight when dark ouside.. you can walk into the forest directly from home. The village has a supermarket and is 4km away. We recommend this sit

Janneme
Sapphire was my best buddy the entire time and if you like puppy snuggles she is the best! However she is more than content to be alone, play alone and patiently wait for you. Sapphire warmly greeted me as soon as I arrived and I found some welcome treats for me and a card from Janneme. It was so nice! I immediately felt at in home. The cats Yoda and Leia were very curious about me and slowly warmed up as the time went on and even snuck in a couple cuddle but otherwise they pretty much did their own thing. Sometimes they would follow Sapphire and I out to the field to play, it was so adorable. Janneme was so easy to communicate with. Her instructions were so clear and easy to follow. I absolutely look forward to looking after these 3 again.

Had a very lovely time with Wookie (and Jenny!)

Jenny is super sweet, i stayed over the night before she left and she was really welcoming and nice to talk to. Her house is lovely and clean! Also in such a beautiful location, peaceful but only a 10 min drive to a beach with a lovely cafe!

Wookie was just such an angel I was in love with him. He was an excellent little "trailer", who just liked to follow you around and hang out, it was very very sweet. I took him for a few drives and he was excellent in the car, a perfect co-pilot. We went to a few pubs and cafes and he was so chill, very patient and well behaved. Jenny mentioned he might be reactive to other dogs while on lead, but I didn't experience that at all. He loved his treats and was a very snoozy boy.

I would defs recommend this sit :)

Anita
Just the best experience hanging out with two cool cats at a super sweet place. Anita and Rich were fun to talk to, really generous and easy to reach despite being in Japan! They live in an entire modern house in on a quiet block in a happening part of town; loads of restaurants, cafes etc. a short walk away. The car came in handy as well.

As for the felines, Prosecco and Aperol are a dynamic duo who complement each other perfectly. Aperol is a laidback cat who appreciates scratches and playtime but mostly is content to chill on the giant beanbag-type chair that he has rightfully claimed. Prosecco, on the other hand, is curious about anything and everything going on in his house. He can be shy about contact - and even proximity if you're walking near him – but is never shy about getting all up in your business if you're doing something that interests him! It was amazing to see how well the two of them got along. My (and their) favorite activity was using the laser pointer to get them running around. Their acrobatics were quite a sight!

All in all, this was easily the best sit I've had. Anita and Rich even invited me to stay on after they returned, which was super helpful! Definitely at the top of my list for if and when I come back to Chicago. Thanks again guys, and happy travels!
