From the moment we connected, from email to phone conversation to finally meet in person Toni welcomed us with open arms and a generous heart. As, it seems, did little Miss Coco. We - Coco, Dave and I seemed to bond instantly; never before have I bonded so quickly and deeply with someone else's pet. Not only is she incredibly adorable, playful and smart she is a perfect companion, a soft and willing cuddler and one amusing, funny girl. Given lots of scratches behind the ears, tummy rubs, playing tug of war when she brings one of her many toys, playing ball indoors or in the garden and/or taking her on long walks or rides on road-trips, and she will be your friend for life. She will also try her best to convince you that she should sleep with you at night. :-). Her mom, Toni, is warm, extremely generous, quick to respond to messages/questions and appreciative of updates/photos. And finally, the home. A wonderful combination of art, luxurious touches, cleanliness and comfort all wrapped up in an amazing yet calming view. If you're a reader you will likely find an astonishingly wide array of reading material to inspire. We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Toni's, taking care of little Coco and her home. If you're lucky enough to be selected by Toni you'll no doubt will feel the same. We certainly hope to one day be able to return.
Stephanie was an incredible host. She and her family left me a lovely welcome gift when I arrived and perfectly clear instructions. Their dog Chutney is very sweet and friendly. Although he's a big dog, he acts like a puppy at heart and would spend most of the time sleeping next to me or asking me to pet him. Their house is incredibly beautiful as well. I recommend this stay to anyone who is able to take it!
It was such a pleasure meeting Suanne and John and Tarball. They immediately made me feel welcome in their lovely home. Tarball is such a cool cat- independent yet affectionate at the same time! Relaxing on the front porch and watching the hummingbirds was a real treat. Overall this was a wonderful Housesit and I hope to get a chance to hang out with Tarball again sometime.

Bailey é um doce, muito querida, brincalhona, cheia de energia e adora estar perto e receber carinho, foi muito fácil levá-la para passear e é muito obediente fora da guia também. What an absolute pleasure it was to housesit for Jessica and family! Jessica was so kind to pick us up at the airport and provide a lovely dinner where we enjoyed meeting the whole family. Their home is located in the beautiful NW neighborhood of Bend which is close to so many great activites, restaurants, concert, shops and the Deschutes River. We were very comfortable in their home which had all the necessary conveniences we needed. The best part of the housesit was spending time with the marvelous Maple! She is so well-behaved and trained. We took her to the dog park, lakes, hikes and just about anywhere you can take a dog! Maple is very affectionate and loving, and enjoyed entertaining us with her toys. Just beware, when you take her out in public, you will receive many compliments on what a cute dog you have! :) Jessica is an excellent communicator and provided detailed instructions on their home and caring for Maple as well as great recommendations for places to see. Thank you so much Jessica for making us feel so welcome! We miss Maple! :)
I had a lovely time staying with Uba and Sieitie over the holidays. Both cats are sweeties and well behaved. Uba is an old soul and loves to be pet. Her purrs are so cute when you rub her belly. Sieitie is a cuddle-bug and will snuggle with you at night, which I loved. Laura & Matt's home was comfortable and in a quiet neighborhood. A car would likely be needed if you stay here, although I did notice several bus lines in the area. I met with Laura beforehand and she is very kind and friendly. There was an issue with the washer during my stay, but Laura and Matt responded immediately and everything was fixed quickly. I recommend this sit :)
