JON
Suzanne did a great job caring for our rabbit and goats. (Our dog was staying with our daughter)
She was a good communicator and left our home clean. The goat barn was not left in the best shape as far as cleanliness but overall she stayed on top of everything including the watering during the really warm days.

I sat for Trish and Athena for nearly 6 weeks. Although the home itself is rudimentary the location is lovely and they did try their best, and went out of their way, to provide supports to combat both the heat and pests. They also provided reasonable use of their vehicle, which was greatly appreciated and needed to get groceries, etc., The location is also very close to the best snorkeling spot on the Island (Two-Step) and if you are a water lover like me, that alone makes everything worth it.

The animals are just the cutest and sweetest little sookies there are. One of the dogs, Kiki (the indoor dog) was my shadow and very attached preferring to always be near me, and her and the cats liked to snuggle in bed with me at night. Kamalani, (the outdoor dog) is also incredibly sweet but has had some trauma so likes to stay at a distance.. although I did get a couple of kisses on my hands throughout the 6 weeks. The animals love to go for walks on the property, and I would take the entire group for a walk up the hill 1-2 times a day which they loved. The ducks are always around, they are easy to care for and generally just putter around. The wild chickens were in fact a bit wild, but other than having to shoo them away they tended to wander around on their own. The one-legged chicken Bianca was very sweet, she was having some tough health problems which required some extra care not for the faint of heart, but otherwise she was easy to take care of and quite tame.
All-in-all a great experience and I can honestly say I miss the animals and how much love they gave me throughout my stay.

Gracie
I enjoyed this house sit! Gracie's kindness and clear information about caring for Nellie, her cat, and Jonesy, her fish, set the stage for a smooth visit. Walking to the French Quarter for the fest was easy. I felt at ease in her cozy home.

My husband and I truly adored Lincoln. He is so sweet and it was a pleasure taking care of him. In addition, Hazel's home is beautiful and very comfortable. We really appreciated her hospitality and all of the helpful information about Lincoln and her recommendations in the area. The countryside is stunning and we loved exploring the area while walking Lincoln. It was a wonderful experience.

Elaine
We left Lagos with a lot of beautiful memories and highly recommend anyone who has an opportunity to visit to do it!

Roger and Elaine are wonderful people, very communicative, helpful and full of personality.

Their apartment, which they made us feel very welcome at, is situated near cliffs, beaches and a walk away from center of Lagos - no car needed. There is also a pool in the apartment complex.

Bimini is very cute and easy going, always keen to spend time sitting beside the guests. She is kind of an observer :)

We wish the best to Elaine and Roger, we miss them and Bimini and hope that You will love it just as much as us.

Ben
One of the easiest pet sits you could ask for. Blanca + Billie are incredibly well behaved and so loving. Billie is spunky and loves his naps. Blanca will do her own thing if that’s what she prefers, but most of the time they both will be right be your side. They are the best adventure buddies. They love their slow mornings on the dock and truly love to be outside all day.

The fish are also quite responsive, which is fascinating. Blanca + Billie will sit on the rocks around the pool and watch them swim, and if you walk by the fish will “stalk” you around the edge as they assume you may have food for them.

The house itself has so much character. Ben has a ton of houseplants which gives the whole place a cozy feel. The amount of nature you’re surrounded by is refreshing - can’t beat being on the lake. Can’t wait to see these sweet pups again!

Charlot
It was easy to communicate with Charlot and she left us a lot of information on everything we’d need. Finley and Dylan were lush, they loved their walks and cuddles. It was an amazing sit and can’t wait to be back!
