We had a lovely stay at Josie and Alex's beautiful house. It was quiet and peaceful. The two horses, Harley and Bonnie, were so loveable and friendly, of course, on their terms. Harley loved a scratch, and you need to continue until he decides that's enough. Bonnie is a little character, and make sure to hide the fly spray behind your back when you approach her, or she will just trot away. The weather was a bit unsettled this week and changing all the time, but the horses will stand ready to go into the stables, if they had enough of the rain and the wind. Harley is always very happy to return to the paddock and see his friend from the house next door in the other paddock. We will recommend this stay to all who wants to spend sometime with horses and Ted, the dog, if he doesn't convince them to take him along on their holiday.
We had a great 1 week sit in Tivat looking after Bear. Bear is such a sweetie, and may be the cutest dog we’ve taken care of. She took a day to warm up to us, but once she did she was always down for a snuggle on the couch and loves a nice walk around the marina and being brushed or playing tug of war with her toys. The apartment is very comfortable and in a great location right next door to the supermarket. There’s a nice restaurant/bar called Sofi close by that is dog friendly and cheap. We miss Bear already.
