Rolf came to stay when we went skiing this half term. Before he arrived we did a FaceTime conversation. Rolf arrived the day before we went on holiday so he got to meet us and Bertie. Rolf was a very nice, polite gentleman and mindful of the fact I would be busy organising the night before our holiday. He sat and chatted with our children and was very easy to be around. Whilst we were away Rolf sent daily pictures of Bertie and kept in contact. Bertie loved Rolf and slept in with him every night - In fact he is still popping into the room and sleeping on the spare bed thinking Rolf will return! Rolf is reliable, friendly, caring of animals and easy to be around. He also kept the house tidy.
Jennifer couldn't do it because she injured herself the week before we left. She arranged for her friend Marta, who was wonderful, to take over, so it all worked out in the end.
Laurie did a great job watching over Callie, chickens and our home. She was very friendly and we had a nice visit the night before leaving. I would welcome her to come back.
I’d definitely recommend to anybody. Her place has a great location and the apartment was clean when I arrived and Fiona was a lovely cat😊
Well, Buddie stole our hearts. Such a happy, friendly and affectionate dog who was always up for another walk or a game of fetch. His tail just never stopped wagging. He was so well behaved in cafes and travelled well in the car too. The amazing 200 acre historical park, round the corner by the seafront, provided a wide variety of great walks. The Royal Victoria Hospital museum in the park was fascinating too and well worth a visit. The cats were easy to look after and let us know when it was time for their food. The chickens and ducks kept us constantly entertained, and supplied with eggs, and hand feeding Lucky was easy. Claire and Jez’s house is in a great location near the beach and park with lots to see and do around Southampton and the area. The good weather was a bonus. We were supplied with all the necessary information well in advance and given a good tour around the area when we arrived. Communication was frequent and easy. We were made to feel very welcome into their home. It was great to spend time with Jez, Claire and Riley before and after the sit and we are really missing Buddie!
