We enjoyed our petsit for Karen and Larry. Bella and Merlin were fabulous to be with and they had us trained in no time! They were so easy care each their own distinctive personalities. We did not have a car and did not need one. #40 bus was almost at our door. It was also a very easy walk to town through the Old Quarter and Arts District to get to Thrifty's - suggest taking the bus home, especially if carrying groceries. The house is older and interesting - quirky as Karen calls it, but charming too and lots of light and the furnace was superb. The neighbourhood was well established and quiet. Karen was super easy to communicate with - even across the world. And a big thank you for the welcome basket, totally appreciated.
All the members of this family, both two legged and four legged are super sweet. The dogs are easy going and affectionate. Laura and Sebastian were very kind. The neighborhood is easy to get into downtown Tampa or even the beaches of St. Pete.
Molly and Winston are really good company - both out walking and around the home. The walking, direct from the property, gives access to wonderful long walks up on the nearby chalk downs with little road walking. Pat was an excellent host, communicating very clearly. A lovely sit!
It was a brilliant opportunity to sit for Mary and her two dogs. The house is ideally situated along the California coast, and close to amenities. There was plenty of places to walk the dogs, and Mary left me detailed instructions of the best places to go. I'd dog sit for Mary again in a heartbeat!
I spent a week at Easter in Ian's flat with Daisy and Rosie and had a great time! The girls are very independent and the flat is clean, warm and cosy. I spent mornings and evenings with the cats and caught up with friends and family in-between. The flat is literally around the corner from the bus stop which takes you to Highgate Tube Station giving you access to the whole of London. Although myself and Ian didn't get the opportunity to meet on that occasion, I knew he was there at the other end of the phone if I needed anything. I'm sure I'll meet him later in the year. I'd highly recommend Ian, his girls and flat for the perfect package trip to London :D
This was a wonderful experience! Lyndsay and Ryan couldn’t have been more kind. They were very clear communicators and just good down to earth people. Sancho and Siggie were incredibly sweet dogs too. They were quick to love and very easy to take care of. Highly recommend!!
