I had a great sit in Bearsted and would highly recommend it! Fiona and Richard are super kind, picked me up at station and treated me to a lovely dinner and a lovely evening of chattering. The house and garden is beautiful and the cats are as easy going as can be! I love it that they have the freedom to come and go, and once they get comfortable with you they are both really playful! Thank you Richard and Fiona this was a joy!
With Catherine and Luciano I met a generous couple. It was nice to meet them and pass some hours together. The cats are wonderfully independant. It was easy and a joy to look after them. The flat is well situated. Quite close to the old city, the Taubenlochschlucht, a beautiful gorge, and the grocery shop. Catherine told me everything, I needed to know and introduced me to her neighbours. During the petsit she was easily reachable for questions. But things went smooth. Biel is an interesting and cool city...and with the lake just a gem.
We had a great time in this beautiful space with loving kitties! Michelle gave us a thorough house manual/tour ahead of time that made taking care of the pets and house super straightforward.
We had such a lovely stay at Lee's beautiful desert Oasis with her fur family Andi, Bob, Luci & Eli. Her home is nothing short of beautiful and extremely comfortable & we felt blessed to get to experience it. Though in a remote location, the home feels like a retreat with how peaceful and quiet the surrounding area is. We were even treated to howls from the coyotes & owls in the evening, which was a fun addition to the experience. It's a great space for focus & restoration. Lee was extremely hospitable and kind, going out of her way to ask what kinds of food we wanted available in the house during out stay! Needless to say, we felt very comfortable and welcomed. Her fur family was all very low maintenance and receptive to our being there. 2 of the kitties kept to themselves for most of the time, but Bob might be the friendliest kitty in the world! Her little dog Andi needed an afternoon to warm up to us, but was quickly rolling on his back for belly rubs. He's a bit of a misunderstood little fella, who is defensive around new people, but with some extra love & care, is a very sweet little guy behind his initially tough exterior. Overall we had a wonderful time, and would happily sit for Lee again :)
Phenomenal. Oh my goodness not enough great things to say about Dan and Jess. They are by far amazing hosts. I especially loved the soaking bath and rain shower with the jacuzzi on the porch. It felt as though I was in a home spa and all the sleeping arrangements were beyond comfortable. Thank you so much for the homemade bread and fresh pie they were most definitely a treat. Great friendly neighborhood. Wish we had more time for sure. We enjoyed Henry Wilson, Liam, Juneau, Ginger, Sonny, Dakota It was a great experience to get a chance to see what it’s like with 4 retrievers.
I definitely recommend everyone to get acquainted with Sweetie. She is an incredibly affectionate girl, very smart, and a little tricky))) We had very little time together (only 6 days), so she was sometimes wary of me. But in general, the desire to be stroked won! Unfortunately, I didn't meet Laurie and Gary in person, but the communication was easy and pleasant. The instructions are as detailed and clear as possible. The house is in a wonderful location, I enjoyed every minute!
