Steve and I looked after Henry for 10 days. He is a independent, no fuss mature cat. We loved him. He is a real character. He likes to snooze in sunny spots, chase his toys and he loves his food. Helen briefed us about his care beforehand so looking after him is easy. Helen's beautiful and tasteful home is tidy and spotless in a lovely quiet neighbourhood close to public transport and shops. She was very hospitable and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay as well as Henry's company.
Thank you to Nadia and Robert for a wonderful sit. Ryiledh is a wonderful happy King Charles and gives you love in spadefuls. He just needs to be cuddled and taken for his walks. Nadia and Robert are a wonderful couple who made us feel so welcome and couldn't do enough for us. It was home from home, and everything went very well. There is a lovely park for walking just minutes from the house. Thank you again and we will keep in touch and always remember Ryiledh.
We loved getting to know Ollie. He’s a wonderful sweet dog with big heart and charming ways. This is a marvelous sit in a lovely home in an incredible place. The hosts are kind and generous, with a complete welcome guide you won’t have any problems. They kindly got us club passes and were very easy to communicate with. We loved watching the sun come up, and listening on the deck for coyotes and owls. Highly recommended!
Darby and Luna are the sweetest pups and are easygoing and cuddly. They're two of my new favourite dogs. Beth and the girls were so welcoming. She has a lovely place with a pool on the water next to a park. Outside the neighborhood, we explored the pier and the beaches. It was just a perfect sit.
What a beautiful and comfortable home! I thoroughly enjoyed my stay. Crystal and Quartz are sweet, lively and sociable personalities. Our initial meeting found them a tad skittish, as they knew their mother was about to leave. As you look out over Stephanie's backyard from the deck, you feel as though the house is balanced on lush treetops. The view is spectacular and totally unexpected. I watched robins, cardinals, finch, squirrels and hummers. I suspect there are deer and other wildlife in the woods. There was an amazing storm that poured sheets and left the small creek below jumping over its banks. The sound was marvelous. The location is close to Washington, DC, so you can get in and out again in just a handful of hours or just stay where you are and enjoy the time to draw, walk in the neighborhood or watch foreign movies and series on Stephanie's MHz programming. It took a few days, but I was soon visited by both Quartz and Crystal when reading, watering plants or sitting on the deck. They regularly came into my room and jumped up to nudge my hand. I enjoyed finding one or the other rubbing my face and another almost lying in my lap. Quartz and Crystal talk with you if you spend time crooning to them. They play, run about and especially funny little Quartz enjoyed carrying a small whiffle ball around the house or chasing his sister. I found them adept at catching feathers attached to a long pole. I didn't realize how much I've missed my own Emily, until I had the chance to be with Quartz and Crystal. This was a wonderful, relaxing sit.
I didn't get the opportunity to meet with Kevin in person, but he left very detailed instructions on how to enter his home and how to care for his super sweet girl, Goose. The home was very cozy with beautiful views, clean kitchen and restroom and a super comfortable bed. Best part? The sweetest pup, Goose! She's so well behaved, well trained and gives you the sweetest "puppy eyes" which are hard to look away from.
