Jacq
Jacq is an incredibly lovely and kind woman with a beautiful home and a lovely dog.

For the next sitter
- Lionel walks on-leash exceptional well and is also allowed off-leash in the park where he is exceptionally good at staying with you. We went on some adventures that even involved train rides and he was exceptional well behaved and made a number of fans along the way.
- Lionel is very well behaved and follows basic commands but he is particularly attentive when there are treats involved. He recalls significantly better when he knows you have treats and I use to start every walk in the park with a treat when I let him off-leash so he knew I had yummy goodies.
- Lionel is everyone’s friend and he sometimes hilariously doesn’t understand personal boundaries and will excitedly run up to people, into a picnic, or even a group of people playing football and demand pats so distracting him with a treat when you see something coming is helpful to avoid any awkward incidents.
- Lionel likes most dogs he meets and tries to make friends with them but he has a particular fondness for greyhounds and bulldogs. He loves playing with them and it’s great to see him so happy when he’s playing with other dogs.
- He doesn’t like birds and foxes so 100% at night keep him on-leash. He is curious about horses as there were police horses walking through Greenwich Park and he wanted to check them out. Luckily I saw this coming and pulled out the treat bag and enticed him back but any dogs and unknown horses don’t mix so sharing this with you so you can avoid a potential incident.
- He loves to roll around in the long grass and jump in water so he can get quite messy but he loves his purple brush and will sit there happily as your brush him and check him out. Be cleans up really easily despite his hilarious antics.
- He loves to always be around you so he will generally hang out in whatever room you are in. He will adorably put his paw on you when he wants attention, he enjoys head pats, under chin scratches, and adores chest rubs. When he is super affectionate, he will bury his head into you to tell you how much he misses you. He will also sometimes sleep with one or both arms in the air and it’s hilarious and adorable.

This was one of my favourite house sits as Jacq is very easy going, provides everything you need, smooth and friendly communication, and an absolutely pleasure to deal with. I would definitely recommend sitting for Jacq and looking after the adorable Lionel.

Daniel
This was my first sit for Daniel & Rossana. I let them get off to the airport before arriving so they didn't have to worry about me but I had a good video chat with them beforehand to say hello and get the lay of the land. Marley and Kiwi are very sweet - they initially weren't about when I returned home (they don't have a catflap so wait by the back door to be let in) but after a quick walk round the block, they duly returned for food and strokes :) they are happy either shut in the kitchen or left to roam outside at night and very easy to look after. I left before Daniel and Rossana returned so didn't get to meet them in person this time round, but hopefully next time! Would gladly sit for them again and would highly recommend the sit. Great location for getting about around Coventry and to get to Warwick University.

Julia
This was such a wonderful house sit, Julia and Rory even left us a bottle of delicious wine to welcome us into their flat. We loved hanging out with Bijou - she was shy at first, but soon warmed to us and was great company.
