I really enjoyed looking after NIkki and Tys labradors Baxter and Cooper and Indie the cat Baxtor and Cooper were such affectionate doggies who will lavish you with cuddles and licks and who love their walks and were great company Indie the cat is the most exquisite looking kitty A Bengal puss with the most impressive coat (and attitude to match ). Shes like "I Know I'm gorgeous now give me what I want " I was truely impressed by her chutzpah .But when Indie curls up to snooze in her little nest or stretches out to snooze next to the dogs She's all chocolate box cover cuteness and you'd forgive her anything . This sit provides a special opportunity to spend time with two loveable labs and a very unique cat . Nikiki and Ty provided everything I needed for a comfy and enjoyable stay and were great with communicating as needed during the sit .
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Shannon and Nick's home in an easily accessible area of Melbourne. Missy and Tex were well catered for and Nick showed us around the house the day before we arrived when we had a chance for the dogs to become familiar with us. The house is in an area that is quiet and peaceful yet close to shops, restaurants and public transport. The heating system in the house was most welcome. Shannon and Nick provided us with an excellent welcome pack that assisted us to manage the house and confidently care for Missy and Tex who were delightful, easy care and a pleasure to be with. We throughly enjoyed our early morning walks with the dogs boosted by a delicious coffee at Mr Brownstone's cafe with the addition of treats for Missy and Tex from Phil the owner. Thanks for trusting us with your precious pets Shannon and Nick and congratulations on your wedding. We're very happy we could assist you to make it happen!
About five minutes into the video call that we had to get to know each other after I had applied for the sit, I knew I was happy to go ahead with it. It felt good straight away, Laurence and Annou are warm and loving. The house was a bit of maze to me at first and it actually took me more than half an hour to decide the right bedroom for me 😇. It is beautiful, just like the yard and the surroundings. It took some time for me and Bimba to get used to each other, but she's sweet. With Bowie and Bassie everything was more than fine from the first minute. They accompanied me on my walks and started wagging their tails as soon as they noticed me. It was easy to love them! It was a great experience and I'm thankful for the trust and the opportunity I got. I'd be happy to take this sit on again in the future or to simply stop by for a cup of tea when I'm around again.
