Eileen is the best! A very warm and welcome lady and the dogs are so happy and healthy when I get home that I think she does a better job than me!! Thank you Eileen!!
She did a wonderful job taking care of my dogs while I was out of town. I have an older dog and a high energy youngster, and both of them came home healthy and happy.
Eileen is wonderful with our little dog, who couldn't be better cared for when he's with her, I totally recommend her
Jake always has such a wonderful time at Four Paws. The facilities are second to none and the owners are wonderful. Thank you so much for looking after our big boy. Would recommend to everyone!
Mabel was very happy when she stayed here. She's a poodle with high energy but the staff were great with her. Will come back here.
Don't take the risk. Genuinely cannot believe that this place is still receiving custom. Our family dog was absolutely terrified and disengaged on pickup after his day here. He still flinches when I try to touch his legs. God knows what happened here, but you would expect them to be taken care of whilst under the care of the pet hotel. Looks like we're not the only ones, too. I would go as far as to say that our puppy came away traumatised, whereas with other daycares he has always come home happy and with tail wagging to see me. David, the taller staff member, was awful at dealing with our puppy and kept trying to make us feel like we'd somehow not trained him enough. Safe to say that's rubbish as our pup has since had a fantastic time at other day cares and is well beyond his age in terms of training and behaviour. Regardless, I will not be returning to this pet hotel. Maybe you'll be alright if you have a dog that goes unphased, since I suspect that something happened during my pup's time here that I imagine will now cost us a fair few £ in behavioural training and recovery. Obviously posted under a pseudonym due to these people having my home address etc.
Such a lovely pet hotel, and the owners are amazing! They are super knowledgable and really care about each and every dog. They want the very best for all of their dogs and take extra care with each breed. My puppy absolutely loves going there! Four Paws is definitely the best pet hotel in Oxfordshire - without a doubt.
Do not send your dog here. We normally use home boarding, but as our dog had not been spayed yet, we had to use kennels. This looked very nice with the heated floors, ensuite, and good reviews. We were not aware of the change in ownership. Our dog is not a barky dog. So much so that when we first got her we were concerned as she was so quiet. She might nip playfully which we told them in writing. So you can imagine our shock, when we received a phone call on the second day of our ski holiday, saying our dog was barking. Please could we collect her? They did not return all of her belongings despite them being labelled as requested. The manager was not there when we collected ourr dog, we were told she would contact us. She never did. Hence this review. DO NOT leave your dog here. These people have no idea what they are doing. Thankfully our dog has not acquired a barking problem. I am even wondering if they had the correct dog. BTW they will. tell you they post daily photos, they don't look at their FB page.
Our dogs are 13, 11 and 5 and, after using the same kennels all their lives, we had to make a change after that business closed. We found Four Paws as a fairly close alternative and the team initially asked that our boys went to them for a morning for a try out which we found very reassuring. They have now had several stays and we couldn’t be happier as they have all come home looking as happy and healthy as ever. The team are friendly and responsive and have been very helpful when one or more of the boys have been on some medication. The facilities are excellent and pricing is reasonable. Leaving your dogs in the care of someone new is always hard but we have felt fully confident that they have been in a professional and caring environment. Overall, we are delighted to have discovered Four Paws and know that we have a safe and reliable place where our boys will be looked after while we are away.
Not only from working here but also from bringing my own dogs to stay i can say that the four paws pet hotel is a wonderful place. Every dog's needs are catered for and if your dog enjoys socializing they will be exercised with other like minded dogs in the secure field. Every dog is given the love and attention that they are used to having at home, as well as being groomed frequently. The kennels are immaculately clean, and the owners are very friendly and understanding with a good knowledge of a variety of breeds. I guarantee that if your dog(s) stay here, they will never want to leave!
Our Staffie has stayed at Four Paws since he was 7 months old. We cannot recommend them highly enough, We have always received a warm welcome from David & Tony. Four Paws accommodation is spotlessly clean, light, bright and very modern. As soon as we pull up to the gates our dog gets so excited and cant wait to get inside. We would not leave him anywhere else. Happy dog, happy owner Thank you Four Paws Pet Hotel
have just picked up my JRT Toby from here and must say this place is fantastic. I have used other kennels for previous dogs but Four Paws knocks the rest out of the park! from drop off to pick up the service for myself and my mutt has been fantastic. As he is still a puppy he had a trial with these and as we were getting in our car they already had him out playing and now he is back home from a long weekend he is the most content dog. I cant write enough to explain how much he has obviously been cared for but if you are in the area I 100% recommend these. Also the prices are VERY reasonable. I have read one or two bad reviews for this place but from my experience of here I am very dubious about these bad reviews. We have already booked him back in without hesitation as we were so impressed. well done four paws team keep doing what you're doing.
A fabulous new kennels in Bampton. Lovely new accommodation with under floor heating, hammock style beds and outside areas. They have various size "rooms" to accommodate more than one dog. The kennel area is very clean as is their doggy kitchen. They have a lovely enclosed area where the dogs can play off lead. The owners obviously love dogs and look after them well. I would highly recommend the Four Paws Pet Hotel.
Tried to book my 2 dogs for day care and taster session for overnight stays. Emailed with no response. Called to speak to someone the following week, and was told they were busy taking dog drop offs, they took my details and would arrange a call back. This never happened. Called twice more throughout the week, left voicemails when no answer, no calls returned. Called every time during the very clear opening hours. Finally managed to speak to someone today, who, when I gave my name, terminated the call. Very unfriendly, unprofessional and would strongly suggest avoiding at all costs.
Hazel Tree looked after my 3 GSPs for a week. They were fine. The kennels have a nice outlook and there is a secure paddock for off lead exercise. Lovely staff team.
Have been taking Bayley, my GSD, there for years. If Ed hasn't got availability I change my plans as I wouldn't take him anywhere else.
We love Ed and Fiona and the staff...been using these kennels for years and our dogs love them
Took my kitten to the Cattery He was there for 10 days in total. Collected and all good. A little chubbier than when left. 😂 …
I have a very difficult dog who refuses to eat in kennels, so far for up to 3 weeks! Hazel Tree staff noticed where other kennels, with great reviews, have failed despite my raising it as an issue. Hazel Tree also addressed it and he was willing to eat there. He is normally anxious but thrived at Hazel Tree Kennels and ran off happily when I dropped him off without a backwards glance. I cannot recommend them or praise them highly enough and so wish I hadn't moved away. I have failed to find a kennels this good either before with my previous dog or since. 10 out of 10 if that were an option!
Couldn't be happier with the service and the way my setter has been looked after. I was nervous taking him to kennels as it was his first time away from us, and I received photos and updates which completely set my mind at ease. My setter can be very highly strung at times , but he's had so much exercise and well looked after and loved. If I could leave a 6 star review I would, and will definitely be using your place again . Thanks
I was very anxious leaving my dog at a kennel. With this kennel I feel she is in good hands and I'm confident to leave her and know she has a good time there.
Highly recommended. Ed, Fiona and all staff are excellent. They are flexible if needed and helped me out a great deal last year when I had a health issue and needed short notice day care. Nothing is too much trouble for them. The dogs are happy there and it is a comfort to know that they are safe and well looked after. I also have one dog groomed there by Sarah and she makes a fantastic job of it. My dog comes back preened and smelling lovely!!
Our dogs recently stayed here and we highly recommend Hazel Tree. We had great, friendly service. They loved our dogs like they were their own. Both of our dogs were clean and incredibly happy when we picked them up. We will happily let our dogs stay here again. Thank you Hazel Tree Kennels!
