You can tell a dog lover by the way they treat your dog upon meeting them. Janice made it past Bailey's "exuberant" greeting and immediately pet her and was very comfortable with her. I knew Bailey would be in good hands, and she was. Janice was very flexible and stayed an extra night when our flight delays got us home near midnight, several hours later than expected. We really appreciated that and it took the stress off our travels. Janice exercised Bailey, cuddled with her, kept the house immaculate, and texted us pictures throught our trip. I would highly recommend Janice and hope we can connect again for future sits.
We thoroughly enjoyed our time sitting for Marlene and Geoff! Their two Labs, Oliver and Finley, are real love bugs and will take all the attention and snuggles you are willing to give. They are typical Labs though, very food motivated, so you have to be careful about leaving anything within reach (as we learned!). They are reasonably well behaved off leash, especially if you have treats in your pocket, but you do need to keep an eye out for other dogs. The house is beautiful and very cozy, a delightful place to call home for a while! There's easy walking right out the front door (enough for Oliver, the elder statesman) plus lots of trails within a short drive to give Finley more exercise. Unfortunately the weather wasn't great for us so we didn't get a chance to explore father afield but were happy to have the option of using the E-Bikes for a couple of rides. And we enjoyed some fresh produce from the lovely garden too. Communication with Marlene and Geoff was a breeze and they certainly made us feel at home. Overall, highly recommended!
Snoopy was a lovely chilled friendly dog who loved his 2 daily walks, cuddles and relaxing outside in the secure garden, on the sofas and beds. Cathy fully briefed me beforehand on Snoopy's routine, likes and dislikes so I was well prepared. Snoopy benefits from having an experienced dog owner to look after him. Cathy was very hospitable and extremely friendly. We got on really well and I was able to stay before the sit to get to know her and Snoopy. She has a lovely secure private property close to amenities , coast and countryside. There is a train station and bus stops nearby (within walking distance). Cathy also recommended places to visit. I really enjoyed my time meeting Cathy and looking after Snoopy. I recommend this as a great house and pet sit for those wishing to visit the Llandudno area.
We had a wonderful sit with Henry! The home is in a wonderful location for morning walks and a beautiful park nearby. We really enjoyed how spacious & clean the home was & easy to follow instructions provided. Loved our daily walks only 25 mins to downtown Ann Arbor & exploring the hiking locally. Henry is so sweet & really well behaved. He was easy to care for & a joy to be around. He loves to play fetch & get scratches which was a nice break between my works calls. We would happily return to sit for Henry any time.
I had a fantastic experience sitting for Susan and caring for her home and her adorable dog, Angus. From the start, Susan communicated clearly and made me feel so comfortable and welcome. We spoke on the phone beforehand and then chatted for a bit when I arrived, which really set the tone for a great stay. The home was clean, safe, and conveniently located near a neighborhood market. Angus is an absolute sweetheart who warmed up to me right away. He would bark a bit when the mailman or anyone else came by, but it wasn't excessive and actually made me feel even more secure. Angus is a lovable, docile dog who enjoyed resting beside me and accompanying me on local adventures to the park and markets. The listing was accurate, but the home, location, and Angus far exceeded my expectations. Susan and Angus are absolutely lovely, and Angus thrives on attention and cuddles, making him perfect for someone who works remotely and loves companionship. I would be thrilled to sit for Angus again!
