Susanne and Bill are fabulous hosts. They were very friendly, welcoming and generous, and helped us organise lots of things for the motorhome we were travelling in. They provided lots of clear information to help our sit run smoothly. Louis and Georgia are gorgeous and a pleasure to look after. They are very well behaved and love lots of cuddles. They require some medications but are very well trained so take it with ease. The house was beautifully presented and provides a little oasis while you are staying there. It is in a lovely location with easy access to lots of places by car. We really enjoyed caring for Susanne and Bill's property and looking after Louis and Georgia. We look forward to sitting for them again. Linda & Laurie
The sit with Lotus was amazing. The host were communicate and detailed the daily things to do, and the house was very clean and well located to visit Cambridge and close to the train station. And what to say about Lotus! she is as pretty inside as she is outside! such a sweet soul, very well behaved, loves cuddles in the belly (and everywere hehe) and likes very much to be close to humans. In the park she loves to fetch the ball and is pretty good on coming back to you, impressive since she is just a puppy! I was very happy around her and I will miss her for sure!
We were in Amsterdam and had plans for the next day, however, we had a call a day before with Jasmin, which made us change our plans and buy last minute tickets to travel to brussels, which made it more expensive, once we arrived in Brussels, Jasmin said that her flight was cancelled and that she would not get a flight soon, however she did not show us any proof of this situation, and being in this situation she did not provide us with any solution, except for saying that we should stay that night and that she would sleep on a small sofa and her father on a mat on the floor which put us in a very uncomfortable situation and we emphasize that she provided this solution when she realized that we were already finishing our booking reservation (4 days at the last minute in brussels), she was in the company of her father and neither of them offered to help us financially to pay for at least one night in a hotel or transportation. We have heard from many experiences on the platform that in similar situations they relocate them or help them to pay for accommodation. We understand that there are situations that can get out of control as the cancellation of a flight, but in this situation, we were left alone to solve as we could, not to mention that the area to find the tram that would take us to the accommodation we booked looked unsafe and dangerous. For the above reasons, we would not recommend this siting at all.
Clifford and Hudson are the most loveable pups and so easy to look after. I would happily hang out with them again. James and Clare were absolutely lovely, hospitable and the house super comfortable. Ulverstone is a beautiful little place well worth spending a bit of time in.
We hit it off immediately and were invited to enjoy a tasty supper and delicious wine with Karen and Michael on the evening before their departure to the Far East. Clover the Cocker is a very loving and affectionate Blue Roan and was always looking adoringly at us. Daisy the aged pussycat was extremely good at taking her medication for a thyroid problem and was easily tempted to eat up all her dinners especially when dreamies were then on the menu as afters! Karen and Michael's beautiful home is in tranquil and quiet surroundings and its location is ideal for visiting several nearby National Trust properties, also Chichester, Portsmouth and neighbouring towns around the Hampshire/West Sussex border. We can thoroughly recommend them as hosts and sitting their two sweet pets was an absolute delight. If required for next summer we would love to return. Thank you Karen and Michael.
Kelleigh was so kind and Cooper was the absolute sweetest and most well-behaved dog! I enjoyed my time and would definitely sit with Cooper anytime!
