Torri
April was a wonderful housesitter and pup watcher! She was very communicative and flexible especially given the crazy times. The house was left spotless and Wrigley has obviously been well taken care of and walked regularly. We would definitely use April again and recommend her for a sit!

Calum
Calum was nothing but amazing as far as his hospitality and communication. Him and his family have a lovely home in one of the best parts of Vancouver Island. There are many amazing hikes and swimming spots within minutes of his place.

The house duties were very straight forward. I loved spending time in their garden and with their chickens. The kitchen was well equip if you enjoy cooking and their outdoor living space was my favourite area! I would highly recommend Calum and his family’s home as a Housesit.

Karyn
Karyn and Paul are absolutely the most warm and generous people. Very positive communicators, too. Their home is clean, organized and spacious. They were kind enough to let me stay downstairs in the guest wing, where I could spread out and work from home.
Emma kitty likes to get to know you from a distance at first, but once she realizes you're the food-giver, she's quick to warm up and hang out, especially at night. Just do gentle talks, slow movements and soft scratches around her neck. As tempting as her fluff is, avoid the hind quarters or she'll hiss like a dragon. String toys are her favorite and she likes to rub against the catnip toy. I highly recommend this sit and am grateful for the opportunity.

Sarah
Last year I spent a wonderful couple of weeks in Sarah and family's gorgeous house with their Goldendoodle, Lolly. Their home is in a lovely part of England, with peaceful country walks right from the door, and plenty of space for running Lolly. I was welcomed very warmly and felt at home right away. This was one of my favourite house/dogsits, and I would recommend it to anyone interested in such a great opportunity.

Kajsa
We were so lucky to have the chance to sit for Kajsa and Mike for 6 weeks, and to have the best new pal for company in the shape of sweet, funny, gorgeous Griff ♥️

The house is in an amazing location, super easy to walk into town to explore or pop for a coffee or a drink, and there are so many dog friendly pubs and cafes for Griff to join aswell. Loads of places to walk Griffy from the house, and even more within a few mins drive, we loved exploring the area on lovely morning dog walks when it wasn’t too hot. Canterbury is such a great place, we had never been before and really settled in and now miss it loads!

Mike and Kajsa have a wonderful house with everything you could possibly need, plenty of space to chill in front of the TV or find a spot to work from, the wifi was perfect, the kitchen has anything you could need for cooking, and the bedroom is very comfy! The garden space is lovely and a real suntrap, and the cushions on the bench are so comfy and make such a nice spot to enjoy an afternoon coffee with a book with Griff curled up next to you! Mike and Kajsa were so warm and welcoming and were always there if we had any questions etc.

Griff is a delight to look after - he is great off the lead and a joy to watch zoom through the grass! He loves other dogs, but especially his best pal Ziggy who he likes to see as often as he can. He’s so playful and was always making us laugh with his antics and his desperate (failed) attempts to get next doors cat! He can be a fussy eater but generally was great, and he’ll let you know if he’s ready for his food. He needs a good brush daily but will tolerate this with some treat bribery so it’s not too bad! He loves a cuddle and we so enjoyed him curling up between us on the bed or sofa, and he was always a good boy and jumped down if asked.

We really can’t fault this sit and would highly recommend if you ever get the chance, just beware that leaving Griff might break your heart 🥲💔 We miss him so much and hope we get to see him again one day!
