Dog Sitters in Sherwood Manor, CT

Lauren was wonderful in watching our home and pup, Chuck, for a week! She read our at home guide and asked questions during our interview and during the home visit. During the stay, she had some questions that she texted the first few days when she first got started about determining Chuck’s behavior (what whine/cry that meant he had to go to the restroom). She was really thorough in trying to ensure Chuck was less anxious while we were gone. She had tried a few dog tricks that didn’t work super great for chuck (rolled towel with treats), but appreciate her efforts! She also provided a photo and update for chuck each day, too. She went above and beyond in my opinion for 4 things: 1. She kindly put our bedding in the wash and dryer before she left, which allowed me to get home post flight around 10pm and not have to do it!, and 2. I unfortunately had Chuck’s food shipment arrive while we were out so Lauren very kindly brought up the box of food and placed/organized into the freezer. 3. She was able to make time to visit and meet Chuck for a 30 minute visit before her stay began which eased any concerns and the transition to watching Chuck! 4. She thoughtfully included a thank you note and treat that was ready for me upon arrival. Thank you, Lauren!

Aliza and Ric are repeat house- and pet-sitters for us. They are great, totally reliable and very pro-active in terms of sending photos etc. of Alice. We had to leave the house before they arrived this last time, and they had to leave before we returned,but we had no qualms about them doing a great job.

We were so lucky to find Jodi on our first use of zeewoi. It was wonderful in that she had just finished a sit in our area, and she was able to come the night before our trip to go through our routine with our cats. We were feeling very comfortable leaving the "boys" the next morning. They were well taken care of, and the house was in great shape when we arrived home. We would gladly call on Jodi for future house sits.

Cindy and Bill were an absolute joy to have as pet sitters! They were very communicative, and it was clear that they are animal lovers. I appreciated their attention to detail and tidiness, and I felt 100% comfortable leaving my home and my fur babies in their capable hands. A genuine pleasure to have such great folks to rely on!

All three kitties and I feel very blessed to have found Sylvia to take such conscientious care during our travels!

Monica was our first experience of a house and pet sitter and was absolutely fantastic! From initial contact and ongoing communication leading up to her stay through to her arrival, animal and house care and on to her departure EVERYTHING was exemplary. Monica bonded very quickly with our 2 dogs and 1 cat and took an emergency vet visit in her stride. All animals were very settled when we returned and the house was immaculate. If you need a sitter and Monica is available - book her!!

Catherine and I immediately connected AND she was so gracious when there was a garbage disposal problem and a misunderstanding when the plumber would arrive. Even so, she stayed with the plumber/electrician the entire time he was here and both problems were resolved. She was just Wonderful. I came home to a very clean home, happy kitties, plants watered and well tended.. and what a relief... I knew she would be responsible. and I was right!

Gwen was a top sitter and a very kind soul! Communicative, super friendly, clean, and easy to work with. I know my Sophie was very well cared for and appreciated the updates and pics along the way. She even asked my permission to organize some drawers and closets, she went above and beyond! Would host again :)

Erin was easy to work with and responsive for coordinating and even flexible with timing. She was able to walk the dogs and care for them on the hot days. I appreciated how clean and tidy she was. Would hire her again without hesitation!

Kristen was great! Communication was wonderful and her care for our home and pets was top notch. We highly recommend Kristen to sit for you and we'll certainly reach out again when we go away again.

Diane and Bill were wonderful! Great communication, before, during and after their stay. Tucker was happy and content, the house was super clean and we enjoyed our time away knowing he was so well cared for. Would highly recommend them to other pet parents.

Becky and Macci were wonderful to jump in for a couple of days. They responded quickly and thoroughly to my inquiries along the way - before and during the sit. The house was in excellent condition when I returned and the cat was her normal happy self! I will certainly invite them again to stay here and can whole-heartedly recommend them to everyone.
