Judy & Jerry were very welcoming, and their home provided everything a sitter might need, as well as a quiet setting, and such a sweet kitty! Mr Lucky was a great companion, and easy-care, we got along fine from the start! Judy's Welcome Manual had all necessary instructions, and they provided maps of The Villages for my use. The neighborhood pool was a good place to meet new friends and enjoy water exercise; stores are never far away; and communicating with Judy was smooth and easy. For anyone who has the opportunity, this is a great sit, and I would go back without hesitation!
This sit was amazing! Jenna’s house is stunning and has everything you need. We felt at home and greatly appreciated Jenna’s thoroughness and organization. She provided a printed Welcome Guide and kept in communication throughout the sit. You can tell how much she see’s her house as a home and her pets as family and we loved that! We absolutely adored Alma and Josie’s sweet nature and cute personalities. Every evening we each had a pup to cuddle with on the couch. Both are lovers, Alma especially loves attention. She somehow knew if Josie was getting pets and would come in from any room to be pet as well. It was adorable! She also gives the best kisses and it melted my heart as she rested her head against my chest and nuzzled in. They’re both very well behaved including on walks and overall absolutely precious! We are incredibly grateful Jenna chose us and would happily sit for them again!
Our experience at James and Clair's house was truly beautiful. Marvin and Blue are two very affectionate dogs and the time we shared was really nice. The house is very comfortable, the room is spectacular. We have ideal days to rest and enjoy home. The communication with James and Clair was great, we were even able to share a very nice dinner. We are very happy with the experience.
Maisy, Ollie, and Lily are the sweetest babies!!! We felt super cozy, safe, and welcome in Robin’s home. We would definitely come back and sit again! The delicious espresso was a major plus!
We had a a wonderful sit with Ruttley, Valentina and Nina! They’re all very friendly and easy to care for. Nina definitely thinks she’s one of the dogs and wanted to be involved in all doggie activities. It was very sweet! Jake and Max have a lovely, cosy home. It was beautifully decorated and very clean. The welcome guide they provided was very thorough and had all the information we needed. If we had any questions they were very easy to contact and always quick to respond. We would definitely recommend sitting for Jake and Max.
All perfect, thank you!

I can't thank Diane enough for taking my daughters dog out for 2 daily walks a day while she was away, due to my mobility issues I can't manage with a proper dog walk and nothing was too much trouble for her. Bella absolutely loved her and came back each time so happy. Will definitely use again if needed. She even came to meet Bella the day before and ask about any likes/dislikes/concerning Bella. Definitely recommend and can't thank her enough.
Diana "Scranimals" (Licensed Dog Services) was highly recommended to us by Durham County Council as well as K9 Pursuits Dog Day Care and Training Centre. Diana takes GREAT care of our 3 dogs with much love, care and outdoor exercise. Her services are super affordable. Our dogs are medium to large with the largest being a senior dog. They love Diana and look forward to her visits. Diana always keeps us in the loop with how all of our pups behaved during her visits via written notes and/or text messages. We trust her professional assistance and thoroughly endorse her services.
Our two dogs have just come back from an overnight stay with Scranimals as our usual boarding was fully booked. We were a little nervous taking them somewhere new but wouldn't hesitate in taking them back there again. Diana was so warm and friendly and the homely environment had them settled in no time. Diana really takes on board the little personalities of each of the dogs and treats them as her own. Great value for money too! Thank you!!
The most knowledgeable lady I know on so many breeds of animal and simply loves animals too. Lovely lady who will treat your pets like her own. Prices are great value too. Thank you for having our rabbits and pup, they loved their time with you
My dog's love Scranimals for walks and sleepovers. Diana is like the dog whisperer she just has a nack with them. She's very good with my naughty Patterdale terrier.T, Tiny listening to Diana more than me. I wouldn't let my dogs stay anywhere else.
I use Diana’s service a lot for my pup and she loves it , coming home tired and happy. Great service. Diana is warm and friendly.
Much better prices than anywhere else and animals so well taken care of. Such a lovely woman and is so reliable. Extremely professional and would definitely recommend!!!
My dog came home happy and tired from playing all day.
Bit expensive
Brilliant 👍 …
Our Sprocker, Skye, is a very anxious but loving soul and thrives on routine. She has had separation issues since we rescued her at 8months old. Leaving her with others has been a big decision in the past. However, after an overnight stay at Skyecroft last year, we didn't hesitate to book her in for 10days, this year. We collected a happy, contented and yes, excited girl on our return. Photographs have shown Skye bonding and blending in with her band of black- coated buddies! Also, receiving some favoured, individual attention. Thanks to Wendy's prompt, efficient handling of the booking and the care of the whole team, Skye will be making return visits, without any hesitation.🐾
We went away for 12 days. It was our first time leaving our puppy for more than a day since we brought him home. Skyecroft shares photos on their Facebook almost every day of the dogs on their playdates. I really enjoyed being able to see these while we were gone as it gave me reassurance that he was having a nice time while we were away. He looked like he had been really well taken care of upon picking him up and seemed very happy! We will certainly be using Skyecroft again. I also look forward to using their groomer next time he visits as she was away while we were there but seems to do an excellent job
Ted & Lucy recently spent 6 nights at Skyecroft. We were naturally apprehensive as this was the first time we had left them so long. However, when we went to pick them up, both of them were very relaxed and happy and had obviously enjoyed their stay. They were also in immaculate condition. The staff were very pleasant and helpful and the dogs seemed to have taken to them judging by the photos on the website. Highly recommended!
Was a bit wary when we took Monty here for the first time but the staff are very friendly and put me at ease.and Monty was ok to go with them. He has been back a couple of times since and greets them with a tail that's wagging nonstop and seems very happy to see them. They also have a grooming parlour and at the end of your dogs stay you can get them groomed if you want for an extra fee.We had this with Monty and he looked and smelt lovely. They show you around the kennels and where the dogs go walks etc. I Never had any problems and recommend them to all my friends.
Our boys always enjoy there stay here. The come home dry, clean and healthy. When we drop them off the dogs are so excited to be there.
Our boxer dog loves going to Skyecroft and they take very good care of him. They have been so helpful when we had a family bereavement - this situation would have been so much more difficult without them. He also loved his play date with his new friend. It really is lovely to see him pull to go in, so I know he will have an enjoyable day.
Wendy and the staff have just cared for my puppy Millie. A huge thanks for helping her as she is a nervous and quiet dog, hopefully during her next stay she will be more confident. Well done Skycroft.
We had a free dog trial day for Wilson and then had a 7 night stay for Wilson and our cat Doug. The trial day went amazing considering Wilson is quite a hyper young dog, we were over the moon that there was nothing but good things to be said about him which put me at ease for his long stay. When I called to check on them while we were away, I was made to feel comfortable straight away knowing both animals were perfectly safe and happy. The staff at skyecroft have been brilliant with us, including me adding on an extra night very last minute for the stay. We are always welcomed with a smile and they always go into detail about the animals without hesitation even at busier times. I couldn't recommend a place more and the size of the cattery is brilliant as our cat is both indoor/outdoor and he wasn't a bother. We have booked a further 2 weeks this year for the animals as they came back so well behaved and we feel comfortable enough to go away knowing they're getting the best possible care they can! Thankyou everyone at Skyecroft! X
This was my 3 year old Gsd's first stay in a kennels and I was a bit anxious as he can get stressed. But Wendy and the team were so reassuring and complimentary about his behaviour. They clearly have a great rapport with all their 'guests' and i am very happy to used Skyecroft as our go-to Kennels & cattery. Five stars!!!
They are really friendly staff how seem to care about the dogs floki loved it. It didn't change him one bit brilliant
