We recently had the pleasure of having Ian as our zeewoi to care for our four dogs and three chickens while we were away, and overall, we had a positive experience. Ian was incredibly friendly and approachable, which immediately put us at ease. We felt comfortable leaving our pets in his care and he took a genuine interest in them and their individual quirks and personalities. He went above and beyond, taking the dogs for walks every day and providing them with the attention and care they needed. We appreciated receiving daily updates and photos of each dog, which reassured us that they were in good hands. Ian quickly bonded with our dogs, and it was evident that they responded well to him. He even brought them some treats (with our permission) and a ball thrower to keep them entertained, which was a thoughtful gesture. Additionally, Ian ensured that our chickens had fresh water and were looked after, demonstrating his attentiveness to their needs. Despite Ian not having experience with handling chickens, they were in good health, and Betsy (our sometimes sickly one), seemed really perky! Upon our return, we had a brief handover, before Ian left. However, there were a few minor issues that we noticed around the house as the day drew on. For example, some items were found displaced, and the oven had been left on, and water was left boiling in a pan. The bathroom lock was broken and placed in a plant pot, which was unexpected, and we would have just appreciated a heads-up about it. Overall, despite these minor issues, we are grateful to Ian for his care and attention to our pets. We would recommend him as a housesitter and appreciate his efforts in ensuring our pets' well-being while we were away. Thank you, Ian, for your dedication and kindness.
Sharron was fantastic, easy to communicate with from start to finish. She was brilliant with our dogs and they obviously loved being with her from the lovely photos she sent . Our home was clean and tidy and the garden taken care off so just perfect. We wouldn’t hesitate to have Sharron sit for us again, we felt relaxed and confident our home and dogs were in good hands 😊.
