Staying in Hanoi taking care of Claudia during the Christmas holidays was a blessing. Claudia is one of the sweetest cats we've ever taken care of. It took her less than a day to get familiar with us and start coming to our lap, and "pawing/doughing" on the blanket over our belly. We couldn't resist and got her a small toy that she loved to chase and catch around the house. Claudia is very regular with the meal times, play times, petting and sleeping times, so it was very easy to look after her. The apartment is cozy and comfy, with lot of space in the kitchen, living room, and bedroom. Evan made sure everything was ready for us and went the extra mile with photo and video explanations and leaving spare units of everything (cat food, litter, lightbulbs, meds...). The wifi signal covers every corner of the house and it's really fast, making our work easier. We could use their nice tv and streamed some movies and tv shows with Claudia on our lap 😍 The kitchen is fully equipped and easy to use, but honestly we didn't end up cooking that much because of all the food options and the affordable prices. There are pretty good local eateries at a walking distance and some really good pizza and other Western and Asian options nearby. Plus anywhere else feels pretty close using Grab taxis/bikes. The area is nice and convenient with plenty of cafes, restaurants and a few supermarkets, grocery stores and delis. It's not far from the Old Quarter, where we went some times to check the atmosphere and see the "Hanoi street life". But since December can be a bit cold, we stayed a lot at home working and spending lovely time with Claudia. We can strongly recommend this housesit. Claudia and the cute apartment and the area were definitely one of our favorite housesits ever (and we've done quite a few). We'll happy accept to look after Claudia again anytime! Hyekyong & Jordi
I sat for Thomas and Melanie in Grecia, Costa Rica. They are amazing hosts. They treated me like their own son and they made sure I had everything that I needed to have a great sit. Chase, Max, and Guinness are great companions. They followed me wherever I went in the house. They were well-behaved and easy to walk. They were a pleasure to watch and they didn’t have any anxiety issues when I needed to leave the house. The house is very large and it’s isolated so it’s very quiet. It sits on a hill so it has a great view! I would love to return and I would highly recommend this sit!
I loved my stay at Katrina and Kevin’s beautiful home in Virginia Beach! They are incredibly kind and invited me to come a day early to meet everyone and show me around the area. Their fur babies were an absolute delight and I had so much fun with my new friends! Nellie is the sweetest pup! She is so smart and truly seemed to enjoy being my VA Beach tour guide! She is extremely well-mannered and I loved being able to take her on outings to the beach, local trails, and car rides. We received so many compliments on her cuteness and the adorable way she rolls in the sand. She’s like a VA Beach celebrity! Marzi is a beautiful kitty with torti fur and luxurious whiskers. She is very gentle and followed me around curiously wherever I went. She LOVES her laser light collar and it is a blast watching her chase after it. Emmy is also a beauty with the cutest little toe beans. She loves to play and is quite the acrobat with her toys! Both kitties like to spend time outdoors; they stay close by and will come when called. Be prepared to quickly fall in love with Nellie, Marzi and Emmy! I know I did!! Katrina and Kevin’s beautiful home is a short walk from the beach. They have a beautifully landscaped yard with a pool, hot tub and they generously allow use of their beach gear, bikes, etc. They gave me a very thorough introduction to everything and there was excellent communication before, during and after the sit. I can’t wait to go back! Thank you for a wonderful experience! I’m grateful to have found you all!
Janel is sweet and communicative! Juice is Awesome! A little shy and anxious at first, but warmed up quickly with some love and treats. Very cozy home with a cool speakeasy in the basement, a fuzzy mushroom cuddle nap room and a backyard filled with sparkly lights. As someone who has worked in the service industry for a long time I also really enjoyed the little details like great knives, espresso machine, and a bar kit to make cocktails. Had a great time hanging with Juice and would be down to kick it with her again any time!
Sitting Dexter was a pleasure! Dexter is so sweet and likes to cuddle on the couch. His owner Ryan is super nice and helpful. He sent videos of the house before I arrived and answered the questions I had immediately. Ryan’s home is an absolute treasure, spacious and new with everything you need. Absolutely recommend this sit!
Denali is such a good dog and this was one of my favorite sits. He was so fun to walk to the park and the play with. While at times he could get energetic, Anamita and Peter provided all the tips to keep him well behaved as he's still a puppy. He also loves to cuddle and get attention. The location was also great and so close to many nice restaurants and cafe's, super close to prospect park and a quick subway ride into Manhattan. I'll miss Denali, and can guarantee he'll be a pleasant sit for you!
