Caroline and Mike have a lovely home and we felt very blessed to be able to use it as our base on our first visit to Christchurch in many decades. So much has happened and it was great to see it first hand and put some context around the significant changes it has meant for the city. Benji is an absolute delight to spend time with and we enjoyed our many walks and swims around the neighbourhood. He is a great communicator and lets you know exactly how he is feeling and what he needs from time to time. He is a real character and we became quite attached to him during our stay. If you are fortunate enough to get the opportunity to spend time with Benji in the future, you will really enjoy the experience. Thanks again Caroline - it was really nice to meet you and members of your family.
It was an absolute privilege to housesit for Judi and Robin. What an amazing experience. The house was remarkable and the area itself was spectacular to walk with the dogs. I was made to feel so welcome. The golf course nearby was such a delight to walk around every day and enjoy the scenery and wildlife. A quick tram ride from Altrincham and you are in Manchester city centre. But the best thing of all was being with Willow and Sam. They are truly the most wonderful dogs, loving and full of character. We had such lovely walks together and bonded very quickly. We had such fun together. Thank you Judi and Robin for giving me such a wonderful and memorable experience. X
We had great time looking after Cosmo and Bramble. They’re both lovely, super cuddly and always have energy for a good play. There are beautiful walks in the area, the home is lovely and super well located, and we greatly enjoyed the garden over the weekend. The guide was thorough and easy to follow, and it was a great pleasure to house-sit in this beautiful piece of the country.
This was a super sit. Vanessa is incredibly kind, welcoming and flexible. Her colourful and cheerful home is within sight of the sea and the lovely Jurassic coast. There are super walks from the house, and Charmouth has all the amenities you need. Margot is a super dog - she accepted us straight away, and is full of fun and affection. She is extremely well-behaved, and goes straight to her bed to sleep at night. She loves company, and was a joy to be with. A great experience!
I can only agree with my 3 sitter colleagues: Paula: Friendly, totally uncomplicated and reliable host. Accommodation: Safe, clean and nice. Bus stop around the corner. Supermarkets, bakeries, restaurants all within 5 minutes walking distance. (I only used the kitchen to make tea.) Cat Serpico: It takes Serpico a little while to trust new people. Serpico loves to be around people. Serpico often just sat at my desk for hours while I worked there. Serpico loves to play! A clear recommendeation from my side. I would sit there again anytime.
Bella is a playful sweetie who followed us around the house, sticking to us like velcro. We very much enjoyed her ways, she was easy to care for and easy to love. Stacy and John ensured that we had everything we needed to be comfortable and to care for Bella and their home which is lovely and well-appointed. They were communicative and helpful. As for the house, among the many amenities is a covered back porch and cushy seatings, the better to appreciate the surrounding hilly landscapes and sunrises/sunsets.! There are plenty of great restaurants (BBQ!) in town and an assortment of shops and historical sites not more than half an hour in all directions. We highly recommend this sit – for the love of Bella, the owners welcoming attitudes, and as great base to explore the surrounding areas.
