Otto and Hugo were the best! Hugo comes and goes and is very self sufficient. We didn’t see him for a day or so and then he spent two days cuddling with us on the couch. Otto is the best dog I’ve ever met. He is such a sweet boy, friendly to everyone and always happy. We took him with us almost everywhere we went and he was always making friends along the way. The house is beautiful and in a perfect location. We walked everywhere for the week we were there and went to most of the places Evelyn recommended for us. We truly felt like we were just living somewhere else for the week which is exactly what we wanted vs staying in a hotel or even an Airbnb.
Niya and Logan were easy dogs to take care of. The house was in a good location and Josie got us groceries before she left, which was very sweet. Niya took a bit to warm up to us at first, but then she was very sweet to us. Logan was a bit more clingy and very affectionate. He did have an accident, I recommend turning off the Roomba. Josie gave us a wonderful dinner when we got there and was very responsive. The yard is very pretty and you’ll have a blast lounging outside if you do remote work and you get to play with the dogs too! Thank you so much Josie!! Looking forward to sitting for you again. :)
Wow! What an incredible stay. Freya is the absolute sweetest girl, very easy to care for and total love bug. Any dog lovers would be lucky to hang out with her. Ingrid is such a lovely host, who ensured my comfort, and exhibited great communication and candor throughout the housesit process. The home is beautiful decorated, well equipped, endlessly comfortable, and in such a fun, walkable neighborhood. Quite a luxurious getaway. I absolutely recommend this sit for any curious sitters, and will look forward to round 2! :) Thanks Ingrid!
Wow Sarah and Rupert we wonderfully welcoming and accommodating. We headed up the evening before the sit and got to meet the doggies and have a walk around the village. They cooked us a lovely meal and we had such a nice time. Their home is beautiful and we had great week. Evangeline loved the hot tub - we all did really! It is in a really beautiful part of the county just a 10 minute walk from the beach and a short drive to some great shopping g and wonderful walks. Dylan and willow are honestly the best company. We loved beach walks with them and cuddles in the evening. They are both super snuggly! Rupert and Sarah even left us some lovely gifts including an advent calendar for Evangeline which she was over the moon about. Thank you for welcoming us in your lovely home and for trusting us to sit for Willow and Dylan
Tom and I were made to feel so at home in Abigail and Peter's beautiful home. They made sure we had everything we needed for our stay and when we met Max and Marley, the wonderfully lovable pair we instantly knew we would have a fun filled week. The furry friends filled our days and hearts with joy. They were the perfect companions for exploring new places, so well behaved, attentive and full of energy. In the heart of rural Devon, there are so many beautiful places to explore and we also enjoyed the more familiar village walks which Abigail and Peter showed us. We would highly recommend housesitting with Max and Marley.
Don and I had a relaxing midwinter week with Bixby at Shannon’s lakeside home. We met Shannon, Andrew and Bixby prior to their departure so we felt comfortable with the house. Shannon prepared an excellent Welcome Guide, which we referred to throughout our stay. Bixby is the most loveable little dog and we found it hard to say goodbye to him at the end of the week! He was easy to take care of and his medication routine was a simple task, made easier by Shannon’s calendar and Alexa’s reminders😊. We enjoyed our daily walks with him on the picturesque trail just down the street from Shannon’s home. One of the best parts of the day was sitting with Bixby and a coffee in the morning enjoying the view of the lake. We love cooking our own meals and Shannon’s kitchen was a dream to work in! We would love to go back again. Thank you, Shannon, Andrew and Bixby for a great week in Cole Harbour!
