We totally recommend this sit, everything was perfect! It's been a few days since we left Jules & Banane, and we already miss cuddling them. The house was beautiful, super clean and comfortable, had everything we needed and was nearby any stores we needed and also the subway station. Jules is very great on the walks and helped us explore the neighborhood. Banane is the perfect kitten, she loves playing with her toys and being petted. Jules & Banane are very cute together and any sitter will love them both so much. Simon and Jonathan were also perfect hosts and were avaiable to help us through the house and their babies. We truly recommend this sitting! :)
What a dream sit! Abra and Gary were fantastic hosts, very hospitable and great to chat to - Gary even collected us from the station. Their house is gorgeous and cosy, plus it's in a great spot for exploring lovely Hastings. Lollie is such a sweetheart and will be your shadow while you're there! She was so good when we were out and about - in the pub, on the bus, on the beach, even at restaurants. The cats are very independent but super friendly and affectionate. All in all, we had a fabulous weekend and would go back in a heartbeat!
I loved every minute of my time with Dunstan. He is truly a lovely dog with a heart of gold. He was friendly, affectionate and so well behaved throughout. He enjoys leading the way on walks but always keeps an eye out so he doesn't lose you, including waiting patiently for me to clamber over stiles. He followed every request to come back to me when asked, including when he really wanted to chase a deer. He was very happy on the long walks we went on, most excited to visit the pub (where after his initial interest he lay calmly at my feet) but his favourite thing is travelling by car - or just sitting in the car. It was the one time he needed some encouragement to move. The only thing he didn't enjoy was having his feet and fur washed after a walk but even then he submitted gracefully. Mary and Michael are a lovely, friendly couple too (there must be a connection) who were so welcoming, helpful and well organised. We had full instructions beforehand and lots of good communication throughout. Plus their house is amazing - very comfortable with everything you need and full of interesting art work wherever you look. Oh and I mustn't forget the sheep! They only need feeding once a day and are very happy in their field but I did enjoy getting up close when they raced over to be fed. I loved everything about this sit - the gorgeous walks, the lovely house and stunning views and the most perfect dog. I miss Dunstan and was sad to say goodbye but hopefully we will get the chance to see him again. I'd love to return.
Tory and Erez were great, the location is wonderful and the cats very special (such different personalities!). We had a good time and enjoyed being in Zurich again. Thanks for the warm welcome and maybe we'll meet another time!
I had a great time in Brussels with Waffle, who is an adorable cat who you will come to love immediately. Rachel and Jack made me feel at home at their lovely apartment, which is spacious, bright and cozy. The instructions were very clear and communication before and during the sit was very smooth. The apartment is located in a nice neighbourhood with good connections to public transport. There is a small supermarket just a couple of minutes away. It was a great experience and would love to have stayed longer. I would highly recommend this sit. Thank you again Rachel and Jack!
My first housesit was at Sunaina and Ashmeet's home in Stockholm. It was a great experience. I looked after their dog - Eva. I played with her, fed her, and kept her happy! She especially loved long walks and beg rubs! Sunaina and Ashmeet are very nice as well and were very flexible in my arrival and departure dates. Their kids were fun to play with too. The city centre, markets, and other attractions are easily accessible by bus or by foot. I recommend this housesit to any dog lover who wants to get a taste of daily life in Stockholm!
