As soon as we spoke to and met Vicky we knew we would get on well. The pups are adorable and we connected very well. The home is beautiful and st on a wonderful location. We met lots of lovely people on our walks out and about. We are going back again and would highly recommend this sit.
This sit was absolutely perfect in every way: lovely people, lovely animals, lovely place! Mike was incredibly welcoming and gave me a great run through the flat when I arrived. I woke up in my room thinking I was in a boutique hotel- so many lovely details. I couldn’t have wanted for anything and I would love to come back! The cats are a beautiful pair and so easy to look after and also fun to play with. Mike and Michelle have created a calm oasis and welcome respite from the hubbub of london with wonderful company in the shape of René and Georgette!
Tattie and Brian are gorgeous dogs, very obedient, very fit, friendly and loved a cuddle. Our sit for Julia and Steve was too short and we would love to be invited back to get to know everyone a bit more. A beautiful house in a beautiful spot, perfect instructions and a whole host of other animals that kept a smile on our dial for the whole time. If you get to sit here then you are in for a treat. Tia and Isa are incredibly easy dogs to look after. Vicky has a fantastic garden for them to enjoy and roam and for sitters to relax. A beautiful setting on the estate and footpaths on the commons to walk Tia and Isa. It was our pleasure to sit Tia and Isa.
If you wrote a novel romanticizing life in Brooklyn, Kung-Gene, Paige, and Squiggles the cat would have to be your main characters. We were lucky to get a chance to meet Kung-Gene and Paige as they warmly welcomed us to stay in the apartment before their trip. Their home is an oasis of plants, books, and art in the middle of Williamsburg, a place where you would much rather stay in than go out into the city. Their apartment is conveniently located very close to the L line and surrounded by many amazing foodie spots they recommended we try out. Back home, Squiggles made our hearts melt every time she propped herself in sofa to soak in the morning sun or joined our work-from-home sessions and evening Netflix binges. She is a creature of habit, and her needs are predictable enough to swiftly get a hang of. We created a group chat with Kung-Gene and Paige and sent them regular updated. They were friendly, communicative, and accommodating. Squiggles is quite possibly a cat with the greatest fan club out there, and after our stay, we are officially part of it too.
I loved staying in Sherry's cozy, colorful, plant-filled home. Downtown San Anselmo is barely a 2-block walk, with so many tasty options for coffees, treats, shopping (worthy of note: the collectible/vintage bookstore, the best little humane society thrift store ever, and a dangerously good gluten free bakery!). But the best things were, of course, the pets! Lucky is a delightful little guy with a big personality who tackles his neighborhood walks with enthusiasm. In the short time I was there I let him show me his favorite walks around the local seminary campus, with its impressive stonework towers and famous labyrinth (in which Lucky did not get lost ; ). ..As for Tiger, he was a little hesitant the first evening, but by morning was ruling the 'pet pile' on the bed with me & enjoying a good chin comb. I miss them already.
