We had such a lovely time with Georgia at Christi's wonderful home. They we're very communicative and explained everything to us in lots of detail. The house was comfortable and Georgia was very easy to look after. Would definitely do it again.
We have spent an incredible month with Empress. She is an incredible cat, she is very affectionate and a companion, she loves cuddles and sleeping in bed. His mother Kira was also very kind to us, she was always attentive at all times. It was really a pleasant experience for us. We would be happy to return to her. :)
We had an absolutely amazing 2,5 weeks with Bracken, Poppy, Rosie, Myrtle and Ginny. What a lovely bunch of pets they are! They were very friendly and easy to look after, just wanting enough attention, playtime and cuddles. We were very warmly welcomed by Michelle en John into their home, and shown around the area before they left us to look after their pets and house. Communication was very easy, and they were easy to contact in case of questions. We couldn’t have had a nicer first experience as housesitters and would gladly return in the future.
We were very warmly welcomed by Barbora and James and arrived the day prior to their holiday for instructions on the morning and evening duties for the chickens. It was a lot to take in so James kindly printed out a help sheet for us to refer to which we needed. They treated us to a fish and chip supper. Our lovely accommodation was the Butlers Nook next door which was cosy and the dogs settled with us perfectly. Charlie is elderly but when encouraged knows how to be his old working self around the chicken grounds. Sacha is the most adorable Border Collie and we were showered with licks and paws on our knees, clearly she wanted to climb on our laps. The morning and evening routines took 40 to 45 mins each and then feed and play with the dogs outside for stimulation to help Charlie. We did not get good weather and the heavy rain made the field And grounds heavy going in wellies. You would need to be OK with handling chickens as one needed taking from the main house kitchen out to the pen after recovery, we didn't know that. Lifting any chickens on to the bars was another requirement when needed. Sadly we did not send a picture in time for Barbora to advise care to one ailing and the bird died the following morning, Barbora is so devoted to her birds and gave us her explanation of extra care needed which is a responsibility. Overall after a few days we developed our routine morning and evening and the dogs were a real delight to have. Kinver is a gorgeous village under 2mls away and the local walks lovely. We did our main shopping in Kidderminster. If you want to experience poultry farming and have 2 wonderful dogs then this is for you.

Viva is such a sweet, lovely dog! She warmed up to us immediately after Leah introduced us. She communicates with you when she wants something in her own adorable way. It was a bit rainy during our stay but it was nice to spend time in the yard with her when the sun came out. Everything you would need is close by. Ashland is a peaceful place, great for rest and relaxation with its theater performances, shops and dining, and Lithia Park all nestled in the beautiful hills of southern Oregon.
