Great welcome (meal with wine) Rachel and Tony took us around everywhere to show us exactly how everything worked. Written notes too. Tony generously let Nick play with his lathe and chainsaw which was an awesome game changer. The house is large, and very comfy. Communications while they were away were immediate positive and helpful. All animals were very easy to manage, unfortunately the two dogs have occasional fights and have to be separated, but they both (individually) have lovely personalities and happily go on rural walks together. All in all very happy very easy and wonderful generous hosts.
I absolutely loved my stay at Janet and Simon's. Their home is gorgeous and comfortable, in a peaceful village with lots of great walks on the doorstep. Frankie is a sweet and affectionate little thing and I really enjoyed spending 9 days with her, along with the sheep and the chickens, whose eggs proved very tasty! Janet and Simon were super helpful and welcoming so that I felt I had all the info I needed throughout the stay (and I'm still dreaming of the delicious meal that Janet gave me before they left for their holiday!) Thoroughly enjoyed it all and would go back again in a heartbeat if they have more need of a sitter.
I had a great experience pet sitting for Sezin. I really loved the cats. Mia is more shy, but after the first day she was already comfortable with me. They are both really nice. The apartment is great too, its about 20 minutes from the city center. Sezin comunicates very well and I didnt have any kind of problem.
It was an absolute pleasure to spend a weekend with Leo and Bruce. They are the sweetest boys! Affectionate, playful, and super well-behaved. Elena and Joshua's home is comfortable, modern and located in a lovely suburb of Cairns. They provided me with an informative briefing of their home and the boys, and I had everything I needed to enjoy a few days in their home. I would highly recommend this sit and spending time with these gorgeous boys!
The perfect sit! We absolutely loved our stay at sarah & mark's place with their three adorable and incredibly well behaved dogs. Sarah & mark gave us a very warm welcome and made us feel immediately at home in their beautiful home. Sarah left super clear instructions & everything was so well organised. Communication was really easy throughout our stay, and their neighbours are also very friendly, should you need anything. Sarah & Mark's home is super clean, surrounded by green and beautiful walks and has everything you would need and more! Louth itself is lovely and you can walk into town - it's a cute market town with plenty of restaurants, shops and pubs. The best part though was spending time with marmite, Branston & Jemima - these three dogs are so loving, well behaved and so easy to get attached to! We had a wonderful time with them - snuggling at home or out on walks. They all have such distinct personalities and are an absolute joy to be around. It was really hard to say goodbye to them. What a wonderful time I had watching over Virginia and Mikes beloved cats Bindi and Spunky! Right away they made me feel so welcomed into their home. They provided everything I could have possibly needed to make my time with Bindi and Spunky as comfortable as possible. I appreciated how they set me up for success and made sure I had a thorough understanding of each cats typical behaviors, differences in personalities and how to keep their home in order while they were away. They provided a digital and printed copy of their very detailed Welcome Guide that was so helpful to flip through when needed. Their home is very welcoming, cozy, clean and had everything you could need and more. They are also in a fabulous location! You are minutes away from major shopping stores such as Walmart, Lowes and various restaurants, convenient stores and a great shopping plaza. With that being said, they are still nicely tucked away in a safe and quiet neighborhood. Bindi and Spunky are quite the dynamic duo! Spunky is so sweet and affectionate. She warmed up very quickly and was a pleasure to be around. Bindi was a hoot and also warmed up quickly. You know right away that they are two sweet and loving cats that are used to having a set routine that they enjoy. They were low maintenance but need lots of love and attention to (try) to replicate what they are used to receiving from Virginia and Mike :) This was such a fantastic sit all around! I would certainly sit for Virginia again and would recommend her listing to others!!

My husband and I are so incredibly impressed with Red House Kennels. Jules and Nic are absolute professionals who genuinely care about the dogs they look after and love what they do. I was very nervous about leaving my fur baby, but I didn't need to worry - I think she had more fun than we did on holiday. Jules kindly sent pictures whilst we were away and responds very quickly to messages. I really can not fault Red House Kennels and will absolutely be using them again as I know my girl will be looked after and cared for to the highest standard. If you want a kennel who puts dogs first and genuinely cares for them like they're their own, then I strongly recommended Red House Kennels - they're exceptional! Thank you Jules & Nic

Our working cocker spaniel had a lovely weekend at Red House Kennel and we could see that he was really well cared for. The dogs have two daily walks and do get to do enrichment games (if I remember correctly from my phone call) which is something that not every kennel does. When we picked him up this morning he was an excited, happy and clean. The owners are really friendly and clearly love dogs. So I am more than happy to leave him in their care for our longer Holiday in a months time. Edit: our dog now spent 2 weeks at Red House Kennels and he came back super clean and as his usual happy self. As expected he was very well looked after. 😊
My dogs had a wonderful holiday here. While I was very nervous leaving them (first time for me) they were happy, well looked after and absolutely fine!!! I was sent pictures of them playing which just relaxed me totally knowing they were having a wow of a time!! Would recommend and definitely use again
Our dog has has another amazing stay at Red House. She gets so excited when we pull in to to the drive and we can go away knowing she is being spoilt rotten. They are truly lovely people who care so much for your furry family members highly recommend !

I’ve just left my 18 month old GSD with Jules and Nick for 15 days while on holiday abroad and not only was it the first time we have left him anywhere since we brought him home at 8 weeks but it was also our first time using kennels in 25 years of dog ownership so I was a little apprehensive about the whole thing to start with but quite honestly everything about the whole experience was just amazing and I can’t thank Nick and Jules enough, from start to finish and including his routine daily raw feeds and daily meds everything was so professional and it was just so refreshing not to have to worry about where Reg was and we could just relax and enjoy our holiday. We also received a few lovely pictures over the course of our trip which goes a very long way when you’re missing your pet. On collection it was very clear that Reg had bonded with Nick and Jules and was amazing to see, he even pined for them at first once we got him home. All in all I would highly recommend Red House and I will certainly have no hesitation in booking them up in the future.
Daphne recently stayed here and I was so impressed,the owners are friendly and extremely professional,wonderful location and the kennels are very close to the owners property,Daphne seemed so relaxed and happy when I picked her up and I don’t think she wanted to leave,highly recommend and will definitely be using again

We are very lucky to have Teegan look after our two pooches! They are quite a unique duo, but she has gone above and beyond to welcome them into the pack! Both the dogs come back very happy and ready for a nap, which is a sign of an excellent walk!
