Susan and Ron were wonderful house and dog sitters. They were extremely organized, well prepared and are also great people, in fact, many of my neighbors who they met while they were here have told me they would love to have them move into the neighborhood. They left my house very neat and clearly bonded with my dog, Angus. I have rated them five star sitters because they totally earned that rating and I now consider them friends!
Amy and Brent were AMAZING! My cats took to them right away. Amy and Brent sent me photos and updates multiple times per day-and they were amazing photos! I might even frame a few! (and they did ask me how often I wanted the updates as well and followed my desires.) They treated my house with the utmost respect as well. The house was clean and tidy when we got home. They played interactive games with the cats multiple times per day, so I know they were entertained and active while I was away. Bottom line, Amy and Brent did an incredible job. I fee like if my 3 cats could talk, they’d ask why we came home so soon; I really think they didn’t’ miss us! And my housekeeper probably felt the same way :-)
Aurora Badger took care of my house and cat Phyllis for a period of 8 weeks. While I was away on holidays she kept me informed on a regular basis on how Phyllis was doing, and informed me of any phone messages that she received for me. On my return I found my house well kept, Phyllis well cared for and she even kept a bowl of soup for me in the fridge. I found Aurora to be a very reliable, honest and caring person and will not hesitate to have her house sit for me again.
John and Ali are extremely warm and wonderful hosts. We thoroughly enjoyed staying in their gorgeous house in a lovely rural location. Their dogs Coco and Mango are friendly and easy to look after, as were their chickens (with a coop door that automatically opens at dawn and closes at dusk). An added bonus was having the White Horse of Uffington a short drive away - so close it can even be viewed from the house. Plus my 3 yr old was in toy heaven thanks to some well stocked toy boxes and ride on toys awaiting visits from their grand kids. We'd happily return and we highly recommend a house sit here to anyone.
We had an amazing time caring for Pepper and Wiley! Meghan and Callan's condo in north Boulder is not only cute but also perfectly located near downtown and all the fantastic hiking and biking trails Boulder has to offer. Meghan's communication before and during the sit was excellent. She clearly outlined the dogs' needs and her expectations, which made us feel well-prepared. I’ll admit I was a bit nervous initially when I read the instructions on setting up the condo before leaving the dogs alone, but it turned out to be a breeze. The dogs were so well-behaved that everything went smoothly. Pepper was a bit nervous on the first day, but by day two, she had warmed up, and by day three, we felt like best buds. Wiley, on the other hand, is just a sweetheart with a wonderful personality. We took both dogs on numerous hikes, and they were absolute troopers, enjoying every moment as much as we did. This was our first house sit, and it couldn’t have gone any better, thanks to Meghan’s organization and thorough instructions. We highly recommend dog sitting for Meghan and Callan if you get the chance!
Barley quickly became one of our favorite dogs that we’ve watched through THS. She is an adorable, sweet girl who walks well on the leash and loves to cuddle on the couch. Emily’s house was immaculately clean when we arrived and had everything we could need for our stay. She was also prompt in responding to any text messages we sent her. Would definitely love to do this sit again
